Come aboard, Come aboard!
The ship is built, the ship is steady!
All we must do is gather the ready!
So many with cheers, waiting in line.
I wonder if this is a fruitful sign!
The ship is packed full with kalons and kits,
Everyone brought their cases of gifts.
So much excitement, so much to explore,
The big ship moves so gracefully offshore.
Music plays it's greatest delight,
Little fishies are playing in sight.
Eyes open wide with wonder,
What a fascinating world we have and adore.
As I gaze at the sunset with hopes high,
The ship starts to rock like the waves nearby.
What is that silhouette I see through the gusts?
Oh no. It's a monstrous wave coming for us!
For a second I do not know what to do,
But the wave had hit the ship and it blew!
I tumble into the dark abyss
Waves so strong, I can't resist.
"Is this it?" I tell myself with worry,
Breathes getting harder, sight getting blurry.
All of a sudden I feel a slick slap,
Something pushed me up with a flap.
Water breaks and air flows,
My lungs are free from the depths below!
Next thing I know some water spurts,
It was a whale that saved me from getting hurt!
I hug the whale oh so tight,
Mr. Whale, you have just saved my life!
The whale waved his tail in joy,
He introduced me with an "ahoy!"
For days on end we jumped and laughed
They never ended the day without a splash!
The whale found a way slightly near the shore.
It's time for me to go and find more.
Goodbye Mr.Whale, the one who brought fun,
You will always be remembered by the way you spun!
