oh it's really cool to see vaiki's reopening! I missed these guys<3

And I think that'd be a cool thing to do, I know I've lost connection with a lot of vaiki's of mine =w=

Maybe you could have a limit of up to 4 myos per person? And of course if someone has more than 4 vaiki's they'd like to trade to you to find new homes for they can, but they can't get any more than 4 myos. I hope I made sense ;v;

I apologize that reopening has been kinda slow, it was my mistake for choosing finals month to reopen |'D But I'm on winter break now so it's winter gift hunt time!

As for the system I mentioned before for trading in old vaikis for MYOs, it would probably go something like this: (keep in mind that you are allowed to trade your vaikis for other vaikis/characters, so this is just another possible trading option.)
You would be able to trade in any vaiki created before November 2018 for a gold MYO coin (or a golden carrot if the vaiki you're trading in is a reinvaiki), and you can only trade up to 5 times. The vaikis would come temporarily under my ownership and I will readopt them, and in some cases transfer/revamp them before readoption (mostly with my old designs, I probably won't touch other users' designs unless you want me to).

I'll admit now that there are a rare few I might want to keep save me I love these doots but I will let you know before the trade is finalized if I'm interested, and if you're not okay with it I'll readopt them normally! You'll get a gold coin either way so don't feel pressured aha |'D For the most part doots will be readopted, and you're free to help judge the competition and/or request any relationships with your vaikis to be kept intact.

This is an idea I had to find new homes for old vaikis that people have lost connection with over the long break, as well as bring in more new vaikis while the adopts are still slow and there aren't many opportunities to get MYOs. Please feel free to discuss it, say if you're interested, or say why you disagree! I won't be offended if the system doesn't work out since it's kinda out there haha.

I mentioned my thoughts in a pm about Vaiki stuff, but I figured I’d post it here too since I have a chance on break at work - I think the trade-in system is a good idea! I have three Vaikis from before the adopts closed that I was never really able to connect to and whose designs have lost their spark with me (as well as one nursery kid from fairly close to the DA closure who I always intended to adopt out as a sort of last chance at a Vaiki for the community but never had a chance to), and I’d love to see them go to new homes, but between work, being sick, and preparing for my move in March, I don’t have a ton of time to adopt them out myself :’)

The MYO option would be cool, too! Despite not being able to connect to some of my current kids, I have some ideas for other ones, and I expect I’ll get more while I head out west and get to actually experience life for once! Having the opportunity to design some more Vaikis to fit those ideas would be awesome, and it’d help me get back into the swing of designing as well, since the only design I’ve made from scratch lately is my new fursona, who’s just a regular snow leopard in terms of appearance :p

So yeah, tl;dr - I’m a big fan of the trade-in system!

I'm super happy to see vaikis coming back up on my feed <3 It was always such a fun, positive community! As for the MYO trade in, I think it's a nice way to recycle some old designs and start up with a bang, having some more adoptions going on to bring in new adopters. And it'll benefit the former owners & vetted community members too! I'm for it!!
