After confirming that her apprentice was indeed following, she padded after the deputy and fellow warrior outside. Crimsonfall decided that since her apprentice simply wanted to get to know another cat, she'd let her. And anyways- she trusted Jaggedbreeze. Although A part of her was disappointed in Petalpaw's disrespect towards her, another part didn't really blame her that much. Looking up, the large molly made sure to perk her ears and part her jaws slightly in the rare case of a mouse or some other small prey appearing while they were making their way towards their wanted hunting grounds.

He ended up simply letting out a huff though and turned away, scanning the area to look for another spot that could possibly make a nice den. He was interrupted by the call. Flicking the tip of his tail, he padded over to join Pepperstrike, scanning the spot he found with his jaws parted in a slight awe. Immediately, his eyes went to the walls that loomed over them. He noticed the small ledges that poked out, not too big and not too small. Ayki has always preferred to sleep high up, and the moss that the other tom had found could easily be moved up there. "I want here" He claimed without wasting another heartbeat, making his way over to stand side by side with Pepperstrike.

He'd rather they have gone more towards where the forest and the marsh met, as there were plenty of herbs in that area and possibly a medicine cat or two, but Pigeoncloud wasn't going to try and argue with Bouldersky.

The warrior muttered mostly to himself as he stepped away from Ayki, padding over to the entrance to the den to slip back out.

adderpaw twitched his tail as ravenwing spoke to him, though he didn't respond. it wasn't my fault i overslept. i wasn't even up late. i just couldn't stay asleep. he gritted his teeth as his mentor responded. i'm sure you'd like that, would you. he thought bitterly, though he didn't say it out loud. he was already in enough trouble, and he didn't need to be in more trouble for mouthing off. the tabby tom looked at berrypaw from the corner of his eye as he joked with his mentor. furbrain. she's not your friend, quit acting like it. he sighed softly, convincing himself to hold his tongue. berrypaw wasn't doing anything wrong, aside from being irritating. adderpaw found the overwhelming majority of cats irritating, though. he pointedly looked away from the apprentice and focused on the patrol.

The calico soon quick shook his head in an attempt to clear every thought, standing up with his cheeks slightly flushed. "Mouse-brain!" He cursed to himself, turning around to the moss bedding. Oakheart returned from a hunting trip, a large mouse in his jaws. He had been spending a lot of time away lately, keeping to himself more than usual. The assigning of a mate had been a huge blow to him, though he’d not told anyone. It wasn’t like Ravenwing was a bad cat; she was witty, loyal, and beautiful. He was lucky to have such a good warrior as his mate. No matter what he told himself, his heart still selfishly yearned for Whitestar. The tom shook his head, putting the prey in the pile. No, he had to stop thinking of his leader like that. It was causing him to neglect his mate and his apprentice, and Oakheart knew that he could not let them suffer because of his feelings. He decided to search out Ravenwing when she returned and spend time with her; show her the affection she deserved.

Pigeoncloud followed the deputy out of camp, and when the tom said he was in charge, he blinked. "Okay, we can try near the stream at the border." He said, turning in that direction. He'd rather they have gone more towards where the forest and the marsh met, as there were plenty of herbs in that area and possibly a medicine cat or two, but Pigeoncloud wasn't going to try and argue with Bouldersky.

Hollyheart narrowed her eyes at her mentor, not sure if he was avoiding what she'd said or just not listening to her. "Reedclan has been here for longer than any cat knows. It didn't take long before Pepperstrike had caught two mice and a squirrel, all easy catches because they were weak from the cold. If the warrior forgot to thank Starclan because his mind was caught on something else, hopefully his ancestors wouldn't mind. On his way back to camp, Pepperstrike briefly wondered if he could go straight back to the loner after sunhigh, or perhaps sneak out at night, but he wasn't sure...
