"Yeah, well, you have fun with that. But I warn you, if I catch you trying to kill me," - Nathan grabbed a sharp, shining knife from his other belt sheath and showed it to her - "I will slit your throat." He gave her a crooked smile as he watched the light shine off the silver of the knife as he turned it in the sun.

"Then I call the police. I win either way, Nathan,"

Nathan laughed, "Oh, that's funny."

Kylie slapped him.

Nathan grabbed his knife and held it to her throat automatically. "I don't appreciate people messing up my life." He said through his teeth. He found it much to hard to not just kill her right now.

"Go on. Do it. I dare you.

Nathan flicked the blade up and cut her chin. He was annoyed, and his hand hurt from stopping the knife killing her. His head hurt from half of it shouting at him, telling him to just kill the stupid girl and get on with practice, while the other half whispered, telling him he'd regret it, telling him he might get caught, talking in their soft voices about her family and loved ones. He ground his teeth together, turned sharply and ran away.

Kylie rubbed her chin and smirked. She shrugged, and walked back to Karla.

Nathan stopped when he was far away from Kylie, and took a deep breath.
"B****," he murmured, raising his sword and slashing through shadows once again.
