Crimsonfall decided that since her apprentice simply wanted to get to know another cat, she'd let her. And anyways- she trusted Jaggedbreeze. Although A part of her was disappointed in Petalpaw's disrespect towards her, another part didn't really blame her that much. Looking up, the large molly made sure to perk her ears and part her jaws slightly in the rare case of a mouse or some other small prey appearing while they were making their way towards their wanted hunting grounds.

Ayki gave the tom a small nudge to catch his attention, cocking his head to one side as a gesture, "how about we look there first?" he suggested before letting out a long sigh. "And anyways, place to stay or not, I know how to protect myself. I can attack, I can defend, I can run, hide, trick. If I feel like somewhere is unsafe, I will move. Besides, you're here now, to protect me, no?" Ayki ended with a sly smirk, giving Pepperstrike a small bump before trotting ahead towards the direction he pointed out.

When he decided, the molly began to look around, scanning the clearing for a spot to settle down. Pigeoncloud followed the deputy out of camp, and when the tom said he was in charge, he blinked. "Okay, we can try near the stream at the border." He said, turning in that direction. He'd rather they have gone more towards where the forest and the marsh met, as there were plenty of herbs in that area and possibly a medicine cat or two, but Pigeoncloud wasn't going to try and argue with Bouldersky.

Hollyheart blinked at her mentor, marvelling at how calm he was. He really had seen it all, hadn't he? Sighing to herself, Hollyheart nodded. "Okay. We should probably get some catmint before it snows..." She murmured, turning to the herbs Pinetail was harvesting. The prophecy still kept its place permanently in the back of her mind, but she brushed it aside. Pinetail was right. It could be nothing to worry about, and at most she should perhaps tell Whitestar. With any luck, Robinpaw wouldn't talk about it. It'd be terrible if rumours spread around camp, and if he told another apprentice the entire story would be so overly exaggerated everyone would break out into a full on panic. Hollyheart hoped he'd stay quiet...

Pepperstrike blushed again, but he followed the loner and looked around the area they'd stopped at. "I'd rather not have to. If anyone finds out I didn't chase you out on sight I'd be in a lot of trouble." He stated, going over to a pile of large rocks stacked together. They looked like they could be some sort of den, but the warrior wasn't sure about how precariously they were fitting together. Turning back to Ayki, Pepperstrike cleared his throat. "Not that I'd abandon you if you needed help." He added, trying to sound nonchalant.

Amberheart kept running until she noticed a clearing up ahead. It wasn't a part of the marsh, it had luscious green grass not yet overtaken by Leaf-bare, and a few evergreen trees decorating its outskirts. Slowing her pace, Amberheart smiled at the discovery, wondering if they might find prey in the area. It would probably all be ruined by snow when the cold really kicked in, but for now it was excellent.

There was some Small den and bushes for a Small cat to do so, but as he didn't see him he entered the apprentices den "Adderpaw? you here?" he calle out watching around to spot the grey Brown tabby tom "You're on a patrol with me, we better go now...or I will go without you?" he keep meowing using a little harsher tune.

She walked toward the field, looking up to the trees when a voice maked her froze, she watched other side of the marsh and noticed some cats in here 'oh? I guess I am in a problem now?' she thought flattering her ears to find a place to have a quick escape.

Jaggedbreeze was heading off with the patrol, keeping pace with them. She looked at Petalpaw for a moment and said nothing, like she always does. I hope I don't come off cold. Im just not a talker unless I really need to talk for some reason.

Owleyes watched Hollyheart get up and said to her, "Yeah, you better do that before grumpy ol' Pinetail claws out your ears." He watched her leave camp and he sighed to himself. He didn't like being alone and silent. Owleyes licked his paw and drew it over his ear, flattening down some fur ruffled from sleep.

Beetlepaw finally felt better to start back up on his adventure again, but he got an idea. Climbing up the tree. The view will be so pretty up there! The tree was slightly taller than the rest, so if he got up far enough he may be able to see the treetops. Beetlepaw hopped out of the small wooden den and dug his claws into the bark. It wasn't a common teaching to apprentices on how to climb, but Beetlepaw learned through all his adventures. He started making his way up the tree, being careful to place his paws only on bark that wouldn't crumble underneath his weight. Slowly but surely, the tree started getting thinner as he climbed higher. At one point, Beetlepaw came upon a large nest made in the trees. The eggs were not guarded, and they were quite large. Probably belong to an owl. They have been known to lay eggs in winter. Whitestar would tell me to break them so we have less predators, but the birds are still young and helpless. I couldn't bring myself to kill them like that. They can't even defend themselves. It would be like killing a newborn kit. He continued on climbing, pushing away the thought of the eggs and focusing on his goal. Eventually, he reached the point in the tree where it was not too thin to break but could just hold his weight. Since all the leaves had already fallen, it was a clear shot. Beetlepaw could see everything. Is this the freedom birds feel? To soar above the trees. Im sure we all look like ants to them. He admired the view. The trees covered in snow was so beautiful to him, he could stare at it forever.

adderpaw blinked his amber eyes, feeling a prickle of irritation at ebonythorn's harsh tone. he came out from his dark corner in the den."i'm here." he said, stepping out of the den and letting his eyes adjust to the sunlight. patrol sounded less than stellar right now. he wasn't in the mood to listen to cats chatting like starlings. he looked around and realized that the patrol had left without him. foxdung! adderpaw thought, forcing down a snarl as he ran out of the den to catch up to the patrol. "i'm here! sorry." he called to the other cats on patrol, ducking his head in embarrassment. he mentally prepared himself to be berated. i'm definitely cleaning the bone hole this time, i suppose. the brown tom thought sullenly. as he caught up with the patrol, he caught his mentor's eyes and forced his tone to sound apologetic. "i'm sorry. I overslept. by a lot. it won't happen again." in his mind, he knew it probably happen again. he suspected that ebonythorn did, too.

Going to the pile, he found a plump looking mouse and carried it over to Lilacpaw. Seeing the spot she was indicating towards, he gave a quick nod of his head and padded over to the spot in the shade. Settling down, he left room for her and waited for the white she-cat to join him before taking a bite of the mouse.

It'll be easier to get up early once you get older." She had never been an early riser until she became a warrior. But she wasn't one to stay up late anymore either.

He'd rather they have gone more towards where the forest and the marsh met, as there were plenty of herbs in that area and possibly a medicine cat or two, but Pigeoncloud wasn't going to try and argue with Bouldersky.

Hollyheart bit the stems of a few leaves, then gathered up a bundle of herbs and hurried after her mentor. She paused, thinking over his words, before she nodded. "Okay, I'll keep that in mind." She blinked, then remembered something else that she'd noticed, way back when Pigeoncloud had broken his leg. "You know, you can talk to me too. I'm good at keeping secrets." She said, waving her tail in an attempt to seem uninterested.

The tom stifled a laugh at Ayki's reaction to the rocks, but he didn't comment. Padding over to a different, bigger and more secure looking pile of rocks, the warrior pushed his way through the ivy falling over a gap. Pepperstrike widened his eyes as he looked around the inside. "Come look at this!" He called back to Ayki, glancing down at the old pile of moss that looked like it used to be a nest. The floor of the cave like den was smooth stone, and there was a wall of large rocks in the back of the den. Pepperstrike went over to it, trying to see through the gaps in the rocks. From the looks of things there was another sort of den or room behind the wall, but the rocks were too large for just two cats to move. Besides, all they needed was this one room, and it looked like it did indeed use to be a proper den.

Amberheart sniffed the air, glancing around. "Probably not, unless there are any squirrels in that tree." She said, pointing her tail to the tallest tree in the clearing. She doubted there were any squirrels, really, but it would be funny to see Hawkscar try climb it.

xxxxxfoxpaw groaned as he became discovered, so much for the effort. as his mentor cracked a smile he eased up, "well, i'm getting there!" he protested playfully, "soon enough i'll be able to sneak out of that den looking like i'd been awake for hours." he jokingly added, his head tilted as he peered around the clearing to find hyacinthsight and lilacpaw. his gaze landed on the younger apprentice and robinpaw. turning back to docktail he nodded his head, "sounds good to me." he shrugged. "are we still doing battle training?" he asked

xxxxxdoveeyes was grateful for apricotleap, if she was going to be expected to be loyal to someone she barely knows, let alone loves, at least it was him. the tom was a good addition to the clan, and at least he put in effort, so she would do the same. the she-cat yawned and smiled at him."are you sure? we could pretend we overslept..." she began, stretching out in her nest and batting at the toms tail with a sigh. "I'll find you later?" she asked, her green eyes expectant as she curled back up. she'd close her eyes only for a few minutes after the tom left.
