Pigeoncloud followed the deputy out of camp, and when the tom said he was in charge, he blinked. "Okay, we can try near the stream at the border." He said, turning in that direction. He'd rather they have gone more towards where the forest and the marsh met, as there were plenty of herbs in that area and possibly a medicine cat or two, but Pigeoncloud wasn't going to try and argue with Bouldersky.

Hollyheart steadied herself, closing her eyes for a few seconds before she blinked at her mentor. "Just before Aridstar was exiled, I had a dream one night. I met Fogbreath, and I asked him about all the things that happened back when he was killed, but he didn't really tell me anything. Then I- I had visions, and he gave me a prophecy. 'When white falls, they will search, and blood will cover the sky'." She said, hoping she was remembering it correctly. The dream seemed so fuzzy now, the visions she'd been shown not clear in her mind, but it was too horrible to not be real. "I don't know the exact meaning, and I don't remember what he showed me. But it can't mean anything good."

Grinning, Pepperstrike stood. "Well, yes, I do need to go back, but not right now." He said, stepping towards Ayki. "And it's nice to know I'll be able to see you again." He murmured, blushing. There was a pause, before the warrior realized it wasn't that simple. "Actually, it's dangerous here. The clan has patrols every day, and we'll need to find you somewhere to sleep." He said, glancing around at the trees. Sleeping out in the open was out of the question because of the cold, and the marsh itself wasn't sheltered, not to mention constantly wet and muddy. Pepperstrike wondered if there was maybe an old badger set or a fox den the loner could sleep in, but nothing had been reported for a while.

Amberheart shook her head at Hawkscar. "You're saying one of them might bite me? I'd like to see them try!" She laughed, picking up the pace even more. Not even the cold air or the threat of being eaten alive could bring her down from the running high - if anything the adrenaline from a run in with an alligator would make it better. The more rational part of Amberheart's mind knew that wasn't a theory to test, but mostly she loved the idea.
