He looked at Beetlekit, who stayed behing them, flicking his tail he run to the pile and picked the most tastiest prey she could found. Ambereye finally finished sorting his herbs. "There."
he said gazing at the pile thoughtfully. Now that that was done he could go
looking for some more herbs. He padded out of his den glancing around the
camp. He stopped for a moment. He should get something to eat first. He
then padded over to the fresh-kill pile and picked a mouse. He then padded
back to his den and sat outside. He then began to eat.

Scorchpelt froze. Her ears twitched as she took in what the
deputy had said. A patrol! She flicked her tail and padded over to the
camp entrance waiting for the rest of the patrol. Her tail thrashed as

Silversplash started after the other two kits. She stopped when
she noticed Heronkit was still sitting in the nursery. She padded back and
pawed her gently. "Come Heronkit" she said softly
before padding out. She padded over to where Eelkit was. She smiled at
him fondly and carefully took the bird from the pile. "Here" she
said gently placing the bird on the ground.

She swallowed quickly her own bite, to get out of the cats who really needed it, sighing she walked to the medicine cat tom "Hello Ambereyes, Do you need to collect any herbs? I could maybe help you with that if needed to" she meowed.

"keep your claws unsheathed when your fishing this way. they could swim past you and catch onto your claw." she meowed while she sliced the fish head a tiny bit to kill it.

the she-cat laughed "maybe if were lucky we wont be stung by jellyfish, which will probably not happen. we can go to the tidepools, sometimes fish get caught there and its easy to get them" she said as the soft grass got in contact with her paws, as she left the rocky mountain behind.

Sprucepaw felt a bit of relief knowing that it was okay for her to be taught the first way. She watched Featherdream fish, and gasped when she flung the fish into the air. "Whoa," she listened to her last words and slowly dipped her paw into the water being sure to keep still hoping for a fish to come. She felt a small nudge and Sprucepaw jerked her paw back out of the water. "Oops, sorry!" She shook her head and put her paw back into the water. Feeling a fish just brush against her paw she sloppily batted it into the air and watched as it landed onto the ground. "Ah! Got one- wait uh- oh no-" Sprucepaw stuttered as she scratched at the fish trying to kill it before it flopped back into the water. It died, but not without multiple messily placed scratches across it's body. "I caught it at least..? I think it's a salmon but I'm not too sure if anyone could eat it now." She awkwardly chuckled at the fish
