Pumpkin's gray fur spiked slightly as she tilted her head back to stare at the cat the ancestors had sent to be her second. The female was large, with lanky legs, sandy fur, a white underbelly, and black spots. She had a notch in her right ear, and towered over every cat.

Which was why it was very unsettling to hear her speak in a soft, shy voice, with her long tail tucked between her legs, and a rather nervous expression on her face. "E-excuse me," the she-cat stammered, voice laced with a thick accent "Are, are you Pumpkin? I had a dream last night telling me to come here."

Pumpkin tilted her head, then nodded. "I am Pumpkin, welcome to the Tower Walkers." she managed to get out, feeling rather pleased with herself for not stuttering. The other female nodded, smiling slightly, and letting her tail relax "I'm Spirit," she mewed "and I'm glad to be here."

"You've arrived on a good day," Pumpkin mewed, nodding with her head to invite Spirit into the stairwell that led higher into the tower "Thistle, one of our apprentices, and one of the founding members, when she was younger, is to be made a full member of the Walkers today."

Spirit gave Pumpkin a smile "That sounds wonderful," she lifted her head and breathed in the air "I scent milk, has someone given birth?" Pumpkin twitched her ears in surprise "No, though we do have a new member, Cream, she and her kits joined a few sunrises ago, and we moved them up to the second floor yesterday once we were sure the kits could make it."

Spirit nodded, eyes brightening slightly "could I see them? I just love kits!" Pumpkin smiled slightly "I'm sure you can, after we get you settled in and introduce you to the clan. You'll be sleeping on the highest floor, with me, we'll go there first, and then make our way down the tower, except for the floor to the outside, since the guards already know you are here, and who you are. We'll hold the ceremony on the second floor so that poppy and snowball can watch it, and formally introduce you to the clan at the same time, since the kits can't leave that floor until next moon, for safety reasons."

Spirit nodded "That makes sense, are they then allowed out of the tower when they become apprentices?" Pumpkin shook her head "No, in order to keep them safe, we keep all cats confined to the tower unless they are eight moons or older. We decided that when we founded the Tower Walkers, since just before we became an official group I suppose you could call it, Thistle, she was only seven moons at the time, was exploring out of the tower, and got attacked by a dog. She just barely made it back to the tower. It's too dangerous out there for young cats. Eight moons old they're old enough to have some sense on them, and they'll have a bit of basic training to defend themselves with."

Spirit nodded again, slowly. "That makes sense." she repeated "And each floor has a purpose?" Pumpkin nodded, purring "The top floor is where I, you, and once we have one, the healers sleep. It's also how I access the ceiling of the tower, which is where I speak to the ancestors. Below that is where the Hunters and Builders sleep, and below that is the Elderlies den, although it's empty right now. Below that floor is where the nursery is, as well as where the apprentices sleep. Then there's the floor to the outside, that's where the guards sleep, and where we store supplies for the Builders, since it would be a pain to drag them up and down the stairs."

Pumpkin fluffed out her fur slightly as she finished "And last, but not least, is the Underneath, it's like the rest of the Tower, but also connected to underground tunnels. We use it for hunting, scavenging, and for getting around the city quickly, although it is hard to get back above ground, and we haven't explored them beyond seeing what they were for."

Spirit tilted her head "So then, other cats could sneak into the Tower from below?" Pumpkin paused, eyes widening "I hadn't thought of that!" she exclaimed "If that happens, and my cats get hurt..." she couldn't finish, eyes wide as she shook her head.

Spirit's own eyes widened in alarm "I'm sure that won't happen!" the she-cat said quickly "I was just wondering, I'm sure Mottle and Sunset are great guards, they'll be able to hold off any intruders, and even then they'd have to correctly follow the tunnels all the way to hear, if its a pain to get out of the tunnels I'm sure it's hard to get into them, there's probably nothing to worry about!"

Pumpkin's fur was still spiked, but she nodded hesitantly "Y-yes." she stammered "I'm sure you're right. Come on, we're nearly to the second floor, Poppy and Snowball will be excited to meet you."

The cats of Lunarclan are a family, they will defend one another with their lives. Sticking to their plain-like territory, their camp rests in a small dip, completely hidden from view by the long grass. A river runs on their eastern border, splitting off into two smaller streams about halfway through, one branch continues along the border, the other cuts through Lunarclan territory.

The cats of Lunarclan tend to have paler pelts, with short fur and long legs, that help them travel through the grass easily.

The leader is the Wise One, and may my Starting Group be Group Four?

the whispers of fallen shadows is a tribe that you do not want to mess with. they are friendly unless you attack.
do not attack them. they are a fierce tribe, they fight for everything, but they somehow are good at being friendly and sharing.
their teller is a fierce she-cat, loved by all, even though she isn't as strong as she used to be. (the fast one)

the cats of whisper shadows (shortened name) tend to be tabby cats or tuxedo pelts (short fur, exceptions possible, all types of legs), although there are one or two that stand out. their main eye colours tend to be hazel/brown/green, although some can be blue-eyed. (starter group 6, i wanna make this a bit harder for myself : D)

Pantherstar's fur pricked slightly as he padded through the city. The words of the omen the ancestors had given him echoing in his head. The dreams had gotten worse, and now he was seeing the red eyes out of the corners of his gaze, but when he turned to face them directly, they vanished. Maplefang padded at his side, resting her tail gently on his back. he other two members of the patrol, Blossomfang and Firenose were a few tail-lengths ahead, since Pantherstar didn't want them seeing him like this, and they were blissfully unaware of their leader's inner turmoil.

Lifting his head as the ginger tabby form of Firenose bounded towards him, Pantherstar detected a new scent following the she-cat. "Have you found someone?" Pantherstar asked. Firenose nodded, and said "She's...she's, well...just come on over here."

Pantherstar exchanged a glance with Maplefang, and sped up his pace to join Blossomfang, and a white she-cat with mismatched eyes. The cat peered at Pantherstar with her green and blue eyes and said "Are you the leader of the cats who live here?" Pantherstar nodded "I am, who are you?"

The she-cat sighed "I am Feather Falling From Sky, up until last moon I was leader of the Tribe of Pumpkin Stars. But I failed as a leader, and as such have come here, I wish to join your Tribe. I cannot be Teller any longer, but perhaps I can be a Prey-Hunter or a Cave Guard for you?"

Pantherstar frowned "We don't have Prey-Hunters or Cave Guards, but I'm sure we can find a place for you."

Horreur's tail rippled as he stared at the cats Smoke had scented. One was white with dappled brown splattered across her pelt, the other was white, with smokey blue eyes. "We're from the old Tribe of Pumpkin Stars," the white and brown one was explaining "Our Tribe split up, so...we were hoping we could join yours? We heard from some loners that you were living around here, you are the Tribe that lives in this land, right?"

Horreur narrowed his eyes "We are Le Royame Dechu." he said "A Kingdom, much more than a Tribe." The white and brown one tilted her head. "But you live together with other cats?" Horreur nodded slowly "Then we wish to join you. No matter who you are."

"What are your names?" Horreur asked. The white and brown one smiled "I'm Deer that Watches Cautiously, and this is Cloud that Blocks the Sun." Horreur focused his gaze on Cloud, specifically on the way her eyes seemed to gaze right at him without seeing him. "You're blind." he growled. Cloud nodded "I am, but I was a good Prey-Hunter in the Tribe, give me some time to learn this new territory, and I'll be able to hunt as well as any cat who can see."

Horreur narrowed his eyes "We'll see." he growled. "We'll see."

The others peered around them and slowly nodded "I think it's a wonderful place." the tabby said with a purr. "Then we're agreed?" the white and ginger cat asked. The other three nodded. "Then from this moment on, we are Lunarclan!"

"We will be the greatest Tribe ever known!"

akoya lay within her family’s den, smiling as her two, healthy kits suckled at her belly. horreur entered, trotting over. “are they doing alright?” he murmured, eyes worried. akoya chuckled, “yes, they’re fine, dear. you only asked a heartbeat ago.”. horreur sighed, gazing at his two kits. horreur was much more father-like than the kingdom expected, even akoya was surprised. they had a beautiful daughter and a handsome son. their daughter, camellia, looked more like her mother while their son, guerrier, looked more like his father. it was clear already that guerrier would be much like his father, and not only in looks. he was much stronger than his weaker sister, and he sometimes crawled on top of her to get to where he needed. camellia on the other hand wasn’t very strong. she was smaller, and aya feared she wouldn’t make it when she was born. however, she proved herself to have that hint of fighter within her from her father. akoya lifted her muzzle, stretching her head out to nuzzle horreur. akoya hasn’t been sure what to think of becoming queen at first, but now, she truly loved her mate. horreur nuzzled his queen back before looking to the entrance. “the clan is bound to be awake by now. i believe it’s time to announce cloud and deer’s positions within the clan.” he meowed, a hint of a growl in his voice when he said cloud’s name. she was blind, useless in his eyes. she clearly wasn’t fit to be a warrior to him, but aya seemed to need some help in the medics’ den, so he decided she’d be able to make herself useful there. despite not enjoying the molyl, even horreur could see she had a great sense of smell and could hear well.

“may all eligible felines of the kingdom gather here for a meeting!” horreur called, gazing down as his kingdom gathered below. “today, we welcome two cats into our kingdom.” he began once the cats settled. cloud that blocks the sun and deer that watches cautiously showed signs of anxiety as gazes flickered towards them. “deer that watches cautiously, please step forward.” horreur meowed.

At first, Sunset and Spirit brush it off as exhaustion, but due to the cat’s nagging, the reluctantly agree to go back out and try and find this stranger’s littermate. Miraculously, they find said sibling rather quickly. The two are determined to stay together, saying that if one is left behind, the other won’t join the Walkers’ ranks. What will they do?

Out on the patrol, Spirit had been forced to make a split-second decision, allow two possibly starving and dehydrated cats into the tower? Or send them on their way to die. Spirit had decided to let them both come, and Pumpkin had approved of it. The siblings, Sidon and Mikau, had proved to be strong cats once they'd gotten some food and water into their bodies.

Pumpkin had spent some time trying to figure out where to assign them, and Spirit finally suggested they be Builders, with the second rank of Guards, since Mikau was quick and Sidon quite large. Well, actually the original suggestion had been for Mikau to be a hunter, but Sidon didn't have the right build for good city hunting, and the two had made it clear when they joined that they stuck together, which meant splitting up their ranks probably wouldn't be a good thing.
