hhh welcome back! seeing you makes me remember the good old days. *wipes single tear with a smile*

i need some tips on charging for my code in my code shop. this is my first real code shop, and previously i would just charge cheap or code for free, but i've decided to change things up. i was thinking about suggesting some prices, but leaving it up to the customer? that way it's fair and i know i'm not overcharging. here are the suggestions i was considering:
simple sig: 1 rare
med sig: 2 rares
complex sig: 3 rares
char form: 2 rares

your shop is looking really good!
I would suggest dropping away from all rares when you're first starting out.
I would start with prices along these lines:
simple sig: 2 uncommons '14 or earlier
med sig: 4 uncommons '12/'11 or earlier or 1 rare '12/'11 or earlier
complex sig: 2-3 rares '15/'14 or earlier
char form: 2 rares '15/'14 or earlier

I think prices like these will help you get started. People who are looking for less expensive
signatures will purchase, and then get your style out to people who are willing to pay more for
signatures. These are the prices are fell back on when opening my first shops.
Also, I would advise against not specifying a price for customers. I've found that it's hard to actually
make a profit that way, as customers can completely lowball and you can't say anything about it.

@parabatai;
i agree with nikkolah, i found that ppl
found it easier to buy with when you
specified/used uncommons! but it looks
nice and i hope for the best <3
@nikkolah;
i love your sig! unfortunately i had to go
to your profile to see the full thing. it
looks like this for me {i use a chrome os/google chrome}

other than that, the use of gifs is clean
and the text is bold but not overbearing c;

nikkolah
thank you for the feedback! i can't wait to get started. ^.^
your signature looks really nice! it fits on my screen (windows 10 on chrome), but things tend to act weird from screen to screen. as you can probably tell, i'm a sucker for a grayscale color scheme, so i love what you did with it! all of the lines and images keep everything very organized and make what seems like a mess much more organized. love it!

thanks a ton! hopefully things will go well.

Do you have an signature shop?:
only a small one here.
I make premade/ mostly free to use signatures as I don't have time to do commissions.
I also don't have time to mess with editing/cropping pictures, doing too much text, or
anything generally complex so, I call my style minimalistic... Which is really a nicer way
of saying simple (but hopefully cute?) coding. Tbh I think my own signature is the worse
one I've made, ironically.
I really respect people who spend time creating complex, cohesive, and beautiful signatures.
I've come here to steal their secrets learn from them, really.
What's your favourite and least favourite part about coding:
best: when you get to the end and it all just fits together!
worst: usually getting things lined up/in the right place u_u
When did you begin making signatures?:
I don't know tbh, I remember I did do it a bit after I first joined.
I've been away on a break for a few years though, and after coming back recently,
I thought it would be fun to play around with it again
Tell us a bit about yourself?:
I'll give you three facts.
I'm from England, my favourite colour is
red, and I have a black fluffy guinea pig called Bella!
I'm somehow no more creative than that.
Irisid, I'd like to sign up!

vampired.
love the shop! it's a really nice little thing with some pretty rad signatures. to display your signatures as they appear in a signature, i would probably use a screencap or create a gif (i like gifcam). that way they look exactly the same and it's harder to steal the code that's not free. ^.^ i do have to agree, though, that getting everything to line up is awful. usually what i do is i try to fit images into spaces by shaving off a few pixels at a time and doing a bit of math and it's so tedious.
azalea,
love the sig! it seriously rocks the whole minimalist style. most of the time when i try and make a neato small sig, it ends up being bigger than intended. oh, and it looks right on my screen; i use chrome on windows 10. the color scheme is very calm and welcoming like a blue coke can and i love it a lot. my only complaint is that "buttercup" and the stamp are a bit hard to read, but i honestly do the same thing all the time so i really can't say too much ahaha. looks great, though! c:
