"Alright." I put down my plushie and take the tablet along with some water. Trying not to sleep. The throbbing of my skull slowly slipping away. I sigh and play with my giraffe. I get bored and lean back on one of the walls. Sighing I rummage through my bag to see what I can find. I find a note from my parents. I open it.
'Hey Kayla, it's Mom and Dad. An apocalypse is happening, be strong, alright? We'll be here with you, alive or not. Your at school, but when you get home and we aren't there don't worry, okay? See you soon...'

I tear up reading the note. Then lean back and start crying."I just want to go home.."
