Breyer Horses Club

I think the last time I purchased a Breyer was in 2006 - it was the Hidalgo one Still one of my favorites, haha!

If only I had some money to kill (which I don't, what with textbooks and other general expenses...) I would love to pick up a couple - particularly Suscecion and Le Fire, though I hear they're fairly rare, so it would be a little difficult to find them and at a decent price The new Weather Girls ones are pretty too

I have $240 so far and I'm still getting more for Breyerfest! What should I buy?

As promised, here is a picture of the newest edition to my model horse family, Zippo's Too Pretty. When I get shelves put up, she will share a shelf with her grandpa, Zippo Pine Bar.
Its funny... I get my mare immortalized in plastic, the same way as many other great horses before her, and she tries to buck me off today. The nerve of that horse!

So, just a random question (forgive me if it's already been discussed), but what was everyone's first Breyer? Mine was the dapple gray shire stallion (from the 1962 clydesdale stallion model). He's old, and like other older models, his muscling and details are not super fine like the newer ones, but he's pretty and one of my most favorites.

This is my very first breyer horse, sadly he has a broken front leg....but its ok! I played vet when I was little and taped it back together.

my first breyer was the saddle club comanche model, i got him with subscription to pony mag.

my first breyer horse i got when i was only 5. it is an arab mare. i broke her many times when i was little and my dad needed to make her 2 prosthetic legs. my dad should sculpt breyers. LOL! BTW, happy Easter! i Got a purple breyer foal with butterflies all over her. she's soooooooooo cute! and i also got 2 breyer stuffed animals. also very cute. xD i'll get you guys pics of my breyers.

I had a few stablemates when I was either 4 or five. Then for my fifth or sixth birthday I got my first traditional model. My aunt gave me Sugar and Spice, the mare and foal set. She's never been broken, which I am quite proud of.
While plently of my models are scratched, I only have two that lost a body part, Afleet Alex and Brighty of the Grand Canyon. Afleet Alex's tail broke off when he fell off of a shelf and Brighty's front leg broke off in the same way. Both are fixed though using tackyglue and a sprinkle of baking soda.
