Not gonna quote for brevity sake, but in response to MusicalDoodle

I've watched a few episodes of Your Lie in April, I've been interested in finishing it so it's been on my list for a while I just haven't gotten around to it yet. My boyfriend's recommended Dragon Maid to me countless times, and I've looked it up before but kind wrote it off after just looking at pictures from the show. A lot of people have told me I'd really like it though so I may check it out soon. Sometimes fanservice is unavoidable, so I'm learning to tolerate it.

As for Toradora and Barakamon, two things that are 100% up my ally and will absolutely put on my growing list of things I need to watch. I've seen Barakamon before, just didn't know what it was called, just that a lot of people who like Sweetness and Lightning also like it so I'm glad I know what it is now and I can indulge in the cute feel-goodness.

Any Questions? (Optional): This isn't a question as much as it is a statement, but although I do consider myself a fan of anime I am very, very, very picky about it. So I think the goal of being in an anime community for me is to find more things that I enjoy! I would appreciate suggestions from anyone! I mostly like innocent fun, slice of life type anime although I just recently got into the genre. I have an aversion to shonen, so I usually stay away from that although there are obviously some I like and anything that designs female characters for a male audience irks me. Other than that I'm open to suggestions!

Somethings I like (bear with me it varies A LOT)
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Daily Lives of Highschool Boys, Azumanga Daioh, Berserk, Ouran Highschool Host Club, Blue Exorcist, AND Konosuba although the fanservice is way too heavy, it's hard to find anime without it sometimes.

Welcome to the club! A slice of life anime I would recommend is Orange. It's 12 or 13 episodes long and it's quite nice. Aside from that I don't really watch much slice of life, I watch action and sports anime more c;

I think I've seen a lot of talk about Orange lately so maybe I'll look at it ^^
Yeah, I'm just now getting into slice of life stuff. I used to be action anime all the way but it feels like its becoming harder and harder for me to find stuff from that genre that I really enjoy. I still enjoy some of it obviously, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures is my fav and thats a battle anime. Never could get into sports anime, which is weird ig because a lot of sports anime feel like they share a lot with slice of life.

I've honestly been really enjoying it! I mean it's not my favorite or anything, but it's entertaining and has a good bunch of characters, including canon LGBT+ characters, which I always appreciate.

I just feel like I haven't seen much fanart or anything for it, so I feel a bit like I'm the only person watching it lol Although I've seen a lot of merch from the series being released in Japan, so I guess it's more popular over there than it is here.

edit* I watched the first episode of the promised neverland and ohhhh my gosh I love it.

I was so confused about Emma's gender when I first saw her, I had to convince myself that she wasn't male haha. in other news, Norman and Emma are the Iconic duo™ we needed but don't deserve.
