Tink nodded in reply, not wanting to leave her leader behind but knowing there was no other choice. She walked off, making sure to be careful with Fang. Exchange has been made. Phase two is set. Be careful. She said through her comm link to the others.

Optimus heard the two leave, carrying their precious cargo. He kept himself from looking back and continued walking until he was in front of Megatron. Starscream seemed even more smug than Megatron, if that was possible. Then again, Starscream had always been significantly more arrogant and cocky.

"Any final words, Optimus?" Megatron asked. He was a little surprised that his enemy surrendered without a fight. Fool.

Optimus stared his rival in the optics, showing the strength and courage he’d become known for. “If you mean to kill me, go ahead. I do not fear death, and even if my spark goes out, another shall rise to take my place. One who will bring an end to your cruelty and treachery.”

Megatron burst out laughing. "You are as much a fool as your Autobots!" He exclaimed before aiming his gun at Optimus. "And now, Optimus, prepare to become one with the All-Spark!"


"Jazz, NOW!" Rusty ordered through a walkie talkie that she made to connect to comm links.

Jazz activated the immobilized, aiming it at the Decepticons. Both Megatron and Starscream were caught in its freezing beam. Ironhide stood by, should something go wrong. “Let’s go, Prime!” Jazz called.

Optimus nodded in confirmation. “Autobots, lets roll out.” He ordered, transforming into his alt. mode and hightailing it out of there. Both mechs nodded, transforming and zooming after him.

Megatron silently yelled in anger as he watched Optimus and two others escape. NO! This was his one chance to end him!

Spitfire looked up from her worried pacing as Optimus, Ironhide and Jazz came back. "You're okay!"

The three transformed back into their bot modes. “You should’ve seen the look on their faces when we escaped right out from under their faceplates!” Jazz grinned. He glanced over at Optimus, his smile dropping when he saw the look on his face.

Optimus looked at Spitfire was deep concern. “How is Fang?” He asked. His mind was still focused on the poor, injured youngling. He couldn’t figure out how the Decepticons had gotten him in the first place.

"Tink and Ratchet are patching him up. It looked like he had a broken arm and one of his auto fins was bleeding. Other then that, I'm not sure." Spitfire replied, looking at the med bay. "How could they stoop so low? He's just a kid."

Ironhide growled. “Megatron doesn’t have a spark! Neither does that cowardly Starscream!” The red much said, his anger kicking back in. “I’ll be sure to make them pay the next time I’m fighting them!”

Jazz sighed. His spark hurt for Fang, and he’d have gladly switched places with him if he could. “I’m going to go check up on Nightshade. Let her know the mission went well.” He said, walking off to find the femme.

Optimus shook his head. “Even I never anticipated the Decepticons would use a youngling, more or less harm him in such a brutal manner. I was a fool for believing it beyond their capacity.”
