"I can help as well. With my ability, I could easily sneak in and get Fang out without them realizing it." Tink said.

Optimus nodded. “Our top priority is getting Fang. Anything that can help us get him back safely will be considered. That poor youngling needs help as soon as possible.”

"What are we waiting for? Let's get Fang back." Spitfire said.

An hour later, Optimus arrived at the Decepticon base, accompanied by Tink and Mirage. They stood a few yards away, waiting for the Decepticons to emerge. Optimus would never admit it, but his spark is heavy.

Tink tried to keep herself calm as they approached the base. It pained her to see Fang injured but it filled her with rage that Megatron would harm a youngling.


"Optimus." Megatron said as he drew near. His optics narrowed as he noticed two bots with him. "Taking back our deal?"

Optimus narrowed his optics as well. “Do not question my honor. I’ve always been a mech of my word. They are simply here to make sure you hold up your end of the deal.” He replied. They had formulated a plan, and he hoped it would work. Optimus would honor his word and turn himself in. He was counting on the Decepticons keeping him prisoner, rather than killing him immediately. Optimus knew that Megatron loved to gloat. When the Decepticons let their guard down, the Autobots would spring a surprise attack. It was a risky plan, but it was their best shot.

Megatron didn't break his stare for a while before turning his head slightly, still keeping them in his sights. "Starscream, give them their little mutt." He ordered.

Starscream carried the poor youngling by the scruff of his neck. “Don’t try anything.” He sneered. “Or your pet here will pay the price.” The seeker handed the youngling over to Tink, awaiting further instructions from Megatron. Optimus visibly relaxed as Fang was safely transferred to Tink. Thank Primus.

Tink carefully held Fang close to her chestplate, her spark breaking as she heard him whimper softly in pain. A broken arm, dented chest frame, nicked pointed auto fin. His stats showed that he was barely online. Oh, Fang, what did they do to you? Tink thought as she gently soothed his mangled fur.


"A deal's a deal, Optimus. Your mutt is back." Megatron said, watching him closely for any sign of foul play.

Optimus nodded. He looked at Tink and Mirage, then at the poor youngling. “Get him to Ratchet, you two.” He said softly. He looked to Starscream expectantly. The air commander took out a blaster, aiming it at Optimus as the two made their way over to Megatron. The seeker was tensed, ready to shoot if there was any funny business.
