Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: i've already had five newbies whom i've helped get used to cs. on other websites that i am a part of, such as wajas, i've helped new players get used to the forums, rules, and how the website generally works. i enjoy helping people out. it is just in my nature to provide a helping hand to anyone needing it. i am friendly, patient, and understanding. i believe that i would be good at being a new user adopter.

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: anytime after two forty p.m. on weekdays and anytime on weekends

Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: yes, i have read all of the information provided and understand it.

Any questions?: If it would be okay, could an adopter offer me advice on making artwork with oekaki specifically? I'm an traditional artist, but I'm absolutely clueless with digital art on the Oekaki, especially with shading. If someone could help me with good tips and techniques on how to use to Oekaki that would be awesome, however I understand if that is not what you offer.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I believe it gives everyone a fair chance to learn about the amazing game.

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I’m active every day, and I’m usually on from 30 minutes to an hour and a half.

Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: yes, I have indeed read everything.

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Of course! There isn’t a reason for me not to.

Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: I have offered help to a variety of members within the last five years. I no longer have many of the PMs or posts at this point. If this is totally crucial, I will go digging for content. Just let me know when it comes to this! I've been helping out my GF who I convinced to join back in October. However, this has been all outside of CS. If you want to contact her about it, her user name is Lakota22. I'm a rather active member in all sorts of forms.
Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I've been a member on CS since the summer of 2013 and I'm rather active. I know the ins and outs of the site and rather knowledgeable when it comes to pets and trading. I'm also able to provide different tips and tricks to users to make it easier for them to accomplish their goals! I'm also somewhat familiar with the oekaki when it comes to using the interface!
I feel like I would be a great addition to the adopters team due to me being active and having spend a lot of time figuring out the site for myself. No one had sat down to teach me and I've been trying to get friends to join for years, but I've had no one to play with. I feel this would be a great way to make new friends as well and I'm super excited to be applying.
How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: It really depends on my schedule. I generally check anywhere between 3-5 times a day, ranging from 5-30 minutes. However, I have my days where I spend almost all day on the site or thinking about the site, even. I've loved it so much and see no time in slowing down. Now that I am on break until the end of January, I will have a ton of time to be on CS.
Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes, I have! Everything is very straight forward and clear.
Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Definitely. I'm excited to be applying!

you just write "bump" in a post c:
lots of people will "bump" a thread to bring it up to the top of a forum board so more people see it. bump stands for "bring up my post".

Have you helped anyone before anywhere on CS? If so, please link to the post/s: Yes! I've definitely helped people, reached out to new members, and answered questions whenever I knew the answer. Unfortunately, due to all of the events that have been going on recently, I frequently clear my inbox and have no saved links of those interactions.

Why should you be allowed to adopt a newbie?: I believe that I should be allowed to adopt a newbie for a few different reasons. The number one reason being, naturally, that I have an instinct to help others. I do volunteer work in my personal life, have a large family (I frequently babysit the youngest members), I've worked with a daycare program, I've trained two puppies, etc.. That might sound silly to list those things, but it all pertains to helping those who cannot always help themselves. I'm very patient too, which is also demonstrated by my above experience. Aside from that, I'm kind, a people person, a lover of all things CS, and I've got a solid grip on the site and how to navigate it. I genuinely think that I could make someone's joining experience better.

How often do you get on CS, and how long are you typically online on these days?: I get on CS at least once daily. While it is true that I'm typically more active during events, if there's no such event going on, I'll usually get on every two days or so. I'm typically online anywhere from half an hour, to sometimes two or three hours straight.

Did you read and understand all of the Adopter information?: Yes

Do you agree to be helpful and polite to your newbie at all times?: Absolutely. I still remember what it was like being a newbie, and I had no idea how to reach out and ask for help. It actually caused me to take a two or three year break from the site, because I was too shy/nervous to just ask questions. I never want anyone else to feel that way, or feel like they either have to figure it out themselves or leave. That should never be the ultimatum.
