Jazz pulled her close as they danced. “I’m sorry about your parents. I’m sure they’re fine; tucked away in some quiet part of the galaxy.” He said.

"I hope so." Nightshade sighed softly before looking at him. Her faceplate burned a little when she realized how close their faces were to each other.

"there seems to be no sound of movement my side of the vents"

"i've searched the vent instillation by the med bay and main area.
there seems to be nothing
and when i tap i don't hear someone crawling through as if to escape."

Jazz lifted her chin, bringing her optics to meet his. “Hey, if I’ve survived this long I’m sure they have. You’ve seen how often I end up in the medical bay.” He chuckled. “Don’t worry about it too much.”

Ironhide returned a few minutes later. “No sign of him, Prime.” This caused the leader to frown deeper. Optimus sincerely hoped the youngling was okay.

Nightshade gave a small nod in reply, smiling a little. "We stopped dancing." She said softly.

Tink ran into the main room, optics worried. "Optimus, I just picked up a distress signal. It's Fang."

Jolt drive almost fell out of the vent above the medbay in shock
if she didn't catch the edge in time, she would have fell
but she managed too and slowly got back in the vents
crawling back to the ones on the ground and exiting them
she look at Tink and Optimus.
"where is he?"

Jazz chuckled. “So we did.” He said. Though he wasn’t in his alt. mode, he could feel his engine purring happily.

Optimus felt his spark drop. “Can you find the pcutest location of his distress signal?” The leader asked, trying to remain calm. He glanced at Ironhide, noting that the usually brave mech had a look of panic in his optics.

Nightshade chuckled softly, feeling nervousness starting to sink in a little. Why did she feel like this around him?

Tink nodded in reply, walking over to Telatraan One and typing in a few things. Her spark stopped. "Optimus...he's..." She said in shock before Telatraan One informed everyone of in incoming transmission.

Jazz slowly leaned in, giving her a peck on the cheek. “An eye for an eye.” He said with a smile. That’s when he was interrupted by a comm from Ironhide. “Come quickly! It’s an emergency!” The mech’s optics widened. “Come on.” He said, pulling her towards the main hangar.
