Refleur ♀ - Whavi

Postby apache~ » Sat Apr 23, 2011 2:08 pm

Name:
Whavi
Owner:
LaChromaticDragonfly
Personality:
Shy.
Whavi is very shy among her fellow Refleurs, and she often tries to avoid getting into arguments or fights with her kin. When it comes to travelling around, she'll either be travelling with her current adoptive group or on her own. Whavi is also very independent and, from spending so much time alone, has become more of an out-sider within her group.
Whavi is also a very fussy eater and refuses to eat insects no matter what, she hates the feeling of biting into their crunchy exoskeleton and the liquid insides oozing its way out of the body and into her mouth, it just sickens her. Whavi isn’t big on hunting small land mammals since she is a slow runner for her species and the prey often gets away. Fishing, surprisingly, seems to be one of her specialties, seeing as she just loves being near the water and the taste of fish and has the patience for it, aswell.
Whavi often tries to fight down emotions that boil within her, especially anger and jealousy, since those often lead to fights. And Whavi knows she would never be able to succeed in one of those since she was never properly trained in the expertise. She would prefer to use those emotions for hunting and fishing, since she thinks it’s a much better way to deal with them, though when that option is not available she may explode on someone/something that didn’t deserve it.

Likes:
As noted before, Whavi adores the flavour of fish, and often spends her time on the banks or in the water, and often her flowers would glow. On the rare occasion that she is able to catch a small mammal, which must mean it’s probably one of her bad days, she loves the taste of the fresh and juicy meat on her tongue, and is considered a treat since Whavi has fish more often.
She very much prefers the snow to the forests, not only because she’ll be easily hunted by the Refleur’s predators since her white fur makes her stand out, but because she loves jumping through thick snow and digging holes in it so that she has a nice, small and cold place to sleep for the night. She also loves watching the northern lights that play over the mountains at night, even though she literally ‘breaths’ it, Whavi could never imitate the real thing.

Dislikes:
Insects, pretty much all creepy crawlies. Even though Refleurs often eat them, and some seem to enjoy the cruchy feel and the liquid that oozes out after you bite into it, Whavi has been turned off them for good and is often told off for being a fussy eater. Hunting for prey, even though she loves the taste of the meat, she hates the fact that she is often out run by them, and gets mocked by other Refleurs ‘cause of it.
Even though Whavi loves the snow, it often makes the lakes and rivers freeze over, and she would have to dig into the ice so that the water underneath is exposed, making fishing hard at times.

History:
Bright light reflected into the temporary burrow I’d made the night before. I’d opened by eyes to quickly and was temporarily blinded, making me jump up and hit my head on the low roof. I yelped in surprise at the sudden pain on the back of my head, blinking a few times before making my way out of my burrow.
“Taking your time like always.” ‘Father’ said, the group I currently travelled with was not my real family, they’d just found me when I was young and took me in, I don’t know why they still bother to keep me around, since ‘Father’ always treats me like a burden and, being the leader of this group, could have kicked me out or left me behind while I was still asleep. “We will now move out!” ‘Father’ said in his loud booming voice, I rolled my eyes, as punishment for sleeping in and keeping the group waiting, I was given no food.
After wandering through the snow on a seemingly endless journey, ‘Mother’ had finally called to stop, saying that the cubs, their cubs, needed a rest, they weren’t the ones with a growling stomache! Sighing, I decided to walk around for a while. If I can remember, we passed some interesting caves earlier, plus I wanted to be alone for a while.
I’d been going in and out of the darkness of the caves for some time now, should I head back? I’m certain that my ‘family’ would be waiting to get going by now… My thoughts were interrupted by a loud screech that had come from one of the larger caves. Spooked out, I ran off, heading in any random direction. Trying desperately to get away from where I heard that noise.
Completely exhausted, I collapsed down on the rocky ground…the rocky ground? Actually paying attention to where I was, I had realized I had come to the edge of a dried up lake, and these rocks where all that remained. “Where did all the snow go…?” I asked myself, turning around again and again. The snowy forest terrain I was in had changed into a lush forest of sorts, though there were still small remnants of snow here and there, but it was not the vast white I was in but a few… “I must have been running for hours!” I exclaimed, now my white fur was a death trap, I was a beacon for predators.
As I wondered around this devastating place, I thought to myself. I won’t be able to find my ‘family, which isn’t that bad, but, heck! I can’t even remember which way it was back. Until I am able to find someone who can help me, I guess I’ll have to avoid open spaces unless my plan works… As I was walking, I can across a running river, running up to the banks, I rolled around in the wet, slushy mud. After making sure all my paws were covered up, I went to the edge of the river. “Yep! Covered from nose to tail tip!” I said proudly, hopefully the mud will stay in my fur for a while, at least long enough to find a way back… But did I want to go back? I mean seriously there’s nothing for me there anyway, plus my ‘family’ would have gone on their way by now…
I must have sat there for a while, cause by the time I looked up, it was getting dark. My thick coat kept most of the cold out, but I could still feel the breezes. By now my fur looked pretty horrid, but it blended in with the surroundings and that was more than what I could ask for.
Snap!
I whipped my head around and growled in the direction of the noise, releasing some of the special mist I’d been storing, hoping to get away from whatever it is. “That won’t work!” A voice said, I could feel it coming closer. Growling I replied, “What makes you say that?” Crouching down low so I could pounce at the source of the voice, I was taking a big risk since I wasn’t much of a fighter. A few more steps and it would be within range. I judged from the silhouette, I couldn’t exactly what it was since the coloured mist kept it shadowed. It took another step and I lunged, “Hey! What the-? I’m one of you!” It yelped. Slowly removing my jaw from its throat I got off the other Refleur. “Heh, well…that was embarrassing. Getting beat by a girl! One of the Refleurs hiding in the forest teased. “I wasn’t the one hiding my sorry butt!” The one I attacked replied, “Oh yeah, and you stink. Take a bath.” He directed at me, shrivelling up nose in anger at what he said, though I decided to keep that emotion for later.
I followed the Refleur that I had jumped on shyly back to his home, there must have been an event, or there is going to be one, since there where quite a few families here together. I’d had taken a dunk in the river before and had gotten most of the mud off, but there was still some left, stuck on my legs and tail. It appears to be that the Refleur that had been behind the tree was from a different family, from what I was being told by the Refleur I followed was that the different families or groups have all come together since the food sources were depleting and they needed to keep the food’s numbers in check. All the families or groups were based around a large lake, living in either hollowed-out logs or dens, originally being a nomadic Refleur, the idea of staying in one place was foreign to me. Though I noticed that most of the Refleurs in the area where going back to their selected homes, probably to sleep. “...stay with us for the night, okay?” The older Refleur said, he had stopped walking and was looking down at me, expecting an answer. ”Um, sure?” I’d missed half of what he said, so I was taking a wild guess on what he had said. “Great! It’s over this way.” He started walking again, in a different direction. I skipped after him, wanting to get away from the starring the other Refleurs were giving me.
He took me to a relatively large den, then he turned to me and told me where I could sleep for the night and that we were going to find a home for me tomorrow. He seemed satisfied with my nod of agreement, then left. I circled where I was to sleep a few times, then curled up and lay my head in rest, waiting in excitement for tomorrow when I’ll finally be given a real home.

Name: Scaylene (( Or Scaylen or Scay for Short ^^ ))

Personality: She's sweet, and outgoing, but has her cold, and tempery side. She is very kind to her friends, but anger her, and she'll rip your throat out. She's a Joker in even Fatal Situations, and her way of being is really happy, and friendly. When she has her heart set on something, she won't give up. Therefore, Outgoing.

History: She was raised with a usual life... Till her Family was killed by Murders. She is the only surviver of the attack, but it had happened when she was just a pup, and so, she only remembers it faintly. Pretty much like Amnisia. She was taken in by another pack, and raised like a normal pup, but everyone treated her diffrently. She never, however, found out why, and even till this day, she doesn't know why.

Likes/Dislikes: Spiders and Snakes. Shes mortally afraid of them. She loves Pups, and Spring time. Her favorite thing is Spring's First Bloom. She loves the Air of Summer time. She loves pretty much anything and everything except rude and mean wolves, and, like mentioned before, Spders and Snakes.

(( Lol, Hope you like it! :D And hope I get her. She's very beautfiul... She would make the Perfect Minion >:3 ))

Name:
Arnurna. Meaning blue waterlily. I thought it fit her because of the blue flowers and all.
Personality:
Arnurna is a quiet fox. She is rather small, but size has no meaning and what she lacks in height she makes up for in character. She is very smart, and even though she is a fox, the strange human squiggles on signs and such amuse her and she would love to decipher them someday. Arnurna isn't the most social creature, sometimes preferring to sit alone by a stream and be taken away by her own thoughts. Though when she comes in contact with other foxes, Arnurna is extremely friendly and courteous. She is more of a listener, and mostly a follower than a leader. Arnurna is loyal, but if something happens that she doesn't feel is right she will absolutely take a voice in it and defend what she believes in.
History:
Arnurna was raised seemingly normally, but being born an only kit was mainly what led to her being such a quiet and well-behaved fox. She never really had to fight over the essentials with siblings when she was little, so got used to being given things easily. When life gets hard for her, Arnurna sometimes breaks under the pressure.
Likes/Dislikes:
Arnurna loves the water, the coolness over it washing over her fur absolutely delights her. She also loves the sunlight, just lying down on a warm rock and sunbathing is bliss. She dislikes when things get hard, and gives up easily. Arnurna also dislikes fire, even the thought of the burning tongues of flame make her shiver.

Name: Ľadu

Personality: L'adu's temperament is cool, harsh, sarcastic, icy, unforgiving. She dislikes most other beings, all but one. She is very unlike others of her species, not happy, playful, or any emotion of the sort. For this reason she found herself unfit to live among them, and instead watches from her far off home.

History: They all dislike me. I know it. I was named L'adu, Slovakian for Ice. It's no wonder now. I am a beauty outside, yes, but it simply shrouds the snarling truth inside me. I am like a mountain outside a city. I loom over the cluster of worthless creatures below, hating, loving, wanting, wondering, but I never make a move. I never attack. I never connect. I never ask. I am left alone, which is better for me. It's not as if I'd actually want to know any of them. They all judge me. But so be it, I have my thoughts and mind to keep me partly sane and that is enough.

I will simply remain alone for my life. I cannot imagine, fathom that I will find anyone, and not being able to think of something is extreme for me since it is all I do. But perhaps one day my views will change...But no one knows that but Future, and she has no intentions of speaking to me about the subject early. Until future comes I will ponder everything with my only close friend, one with an attitude similar to mine who will not pester me. I worry sometimes about Keklo constricting around my throat, locking his jaws into my jugular, but he will not. He may be a constrictor, but his soul is too black to kill me. His days of killing close ones are over. Of course, anyone besides myself is not close.

Keklo is often gone at the darkest of hours, tracking a field mouse or making himself a hanging rope for a victim's throat. So at night, I am alone. My pure whiteness contradicts my soul, but reflects it with perfect accuracy at the same time. I am black inside, unlike my coat, but my soul has no been touched by the blackness. It is guarded with a heavy wall of ice, which does suit my coat and eyes. Keklo thinks I am odd in that way.

The stars, they are beautiful at night. So far away, they look peaceful. What no one thinks about is what and who they really are, burning gases, with the ability to kill. Somewhat like myself. How odd nature can be, so similar to myself!

Up on my hill, overlooking those below, such is where my life belongs. With Keklo, I am safe. He combats any of the lonely nights that come occasionally, and for that I must thank him. Even a snake of his heart can confort me. Does that speak of me in a way? But does it matter when there is no one else to judge me around? Another thought I will be pondering for my empty time.

Likes- L'adu likes few things. She enjoys rainy days and clouds. The pure fillers of her spare time is thinking, watching birds, watching others like herself, or watching stars. She enjoys sparing chats with Keklo, but they will never drag out for more than 10 minutes at one time. The last thing she enjoys would be her own breath, her own lights, colors dancing in and out of each other's grasp.
Dislikes- She dislikes her own name, L'adu, in english Ice. She finds it unsuiting, although in truth it fits perfectly well. Being surrounded by many others gives her a trapped feeling, or perhaps just makes the trapped feeling she's always had clamp down tighter. L'adu dislikes sunny days, she prefers the dark cover of clods of rain. She prefers night to day.

Sorry for like failness. LOL
I'm not going too overboard here, the length of a fill out does not determine how good it is. :3

I kind of changed the form slightly, so that ‘Likes’ and ‘Dislikes’ comes after ‘Personality’, and it finishes off with ‘History’ which is more of a story. Would that take away/lessen my chance of winning this stunning Refleur?

I hope I didn’t write too much, though I guess it can’t be helped. And I probably would have gone on longer if my arm didn’t start to hurt from leaning on it this whole time. X3
Also, how many Refleurs is one user able to adopt of these amazing creatures, Uoneko?
