Jazz laughed, stumbling back a little. He was clearly in pain, but handling it like a pro. “I’m alright Tink. Pretty beaten up, but I’ll live.” He replied, nudging Nightshade forward encouragingly. “My new friend here scared off ‘Screamer and his pet.”

Tink blinked, looking at the new femme before her. "I'm Tink. It's nice to meet you. Thanks for saving Jazz. We wouldn't know what to do without him."

"Nightshade. Any bot who isn't a Decepticon would have done the same." She said with a shy smile.

Jazz looked at Tink with amusement. “How many poor bots did you drag our here to look for me?” He asked, a teasing edge to his voice. He heard another bot approaching, and before he could turn to see who it was, he felt a firm slap on the back.

“For once I’m not the one who almost gets himself killed.” Ironhide chuckled. While he phrased the comment as a joke, there was genuine concern in his voice. “You look rough.” Jazz rolled his optics, inspecting his injuries. “I learned from the best, ‘Hide.”

"Enough to send any Decepticon running away. Now hold still and let me take a look at the damage." Tink ordered.

Nightshade shyly smiled at Ironhide. "Hello." She said nervously

Jazz nodded, sitting down so that she could look at his injuries without accidentally knocking him over. He looked up at Ironhide and Nightshade, an amused grin on his face. “Ironhide, this is Nightshade. She’s one of the best shots I’ve ever seen.”

Ironhide raised his brow in interest. “Really now? Where did you find her?” Ironhide asked. “She found me. Sent those Decepticons running! It was quite the show.” The special ops. agent replied.

"It was nothing, really. I just saw an injured bot in need of help. Besides, two against one isn't fair." Nightshade said with a smile.

"Maybe that's what it all is. Just a show to get our guard down." Cliffjumper said as he joined the rest of the group.

Jazz rolled his optics. Why did Cliffjumper have to come along? It wasn’t that he didn’t like the bot; he was just a little too paranoid for Jazz’s taste. “She saved my life, Cliffjumper. Nearly blew up two Decepticons in the process.” He said, directing his attention back to Tink. “How bad is it?”

Ironhide huffed. “I’d usually agree with you Cliffjumper, but Jazz has a point. If she was a Decepticon, why would she attack other Decepticons in order to save an Autobot?” The red mech pointed out, glancing at Nightshade.

"So she can get on the inside and gain our trust. Then when we least expect it, we'll have Decepticons blowing us into scrap metal because she betrayed us." Cliffjumper explained, glaring at Nightshade. He didn't really trust anyone, but he definitely didn't trust her.

"Can it, Cliff. If it wasn't for her, Jazz wouldn't be online right now." Tink scolded, causing Cliffjumper to fold his arms and grumble. "It's not too bad. A little patching and rest will have you back to yourself in no time." She replied kindly to Jazz.

“Thanks for the reassurance, but I’m sure my injuries will be a lot worse once Ratchet gets ahold of me.” Jazz grinned. “I just left the medical bay this morning, after all. I’m almost as bad as Ironhide at this point.” He winked towards Nightshade under his visor.

“I heard that!” Ironhide crossed his arms, though a smile was tugging at his face. Jazz sent him a challenging smirk. “It’s true, ‘Hide. You have more holes in you than metal that’s been left out to rust.” Ironhide pointed to Tink. “As soon as he gets fixed up, he’s mine!” The old bot was grinning though, so it was clear he wasn’t serious.

"That's for Ratchet to decide." Tink said before standing up. "Come on, we better head back before Spitfire blows something up just to amuse herself."
