Lark softly smiled at LeMarc at his remark of there being little he would do. He chuckled, lightly shaking his head at comment of his driving. "I will have to agree with you on that one. Not to mention that you already have enough things to deal with, the last thing you need is me calling you a state or two away again. I still have no idea what happened... I just wanted to check out a mall in the next town over.." He trailed off, still baffled how that managed to happen. Either way, he was just not destined to drive and everyone knew it. Larkin looked over at the front down and slightly frowned again, they still had business to do. "Well, I guess it's time we should start our man hunt before something happens again." He said grimly, before taking a long sip of his coffee for the energy he will definitely need later. He gave his butler a pat on his back as he passed by, knowing LeMarc would still be annoyed and upset about the circumstance.

Deirdre looked at Alexander and gave him a nod of approval. He was making himself quite handy with complaints already, which was a pleasant surprise to her. The spirit turned her gaze back to the other three people and replied when Charles asked a few questions. "It has been quite good today, thank you. Mr. Stoker has hired a new chef for my kitchen so it has made my day interesting so far." She replied, address Alexander's presence so they didn't wonder who he was if they didn't already know. "As for breakfast, the table has already been set. I've decided to go easy today and made scrambled eggs and biscuits. I know it's not very selective today but can make up some gravy if you'd like some to go with the biscuits." Deirdre offered, feeling silly now for not even thinking much about it earlier. Perhaps it was because she may have gotten slightly off track but it still wasn't quite too late.

Nimbus tilted his head as he await for an answer from the boy. With or without him, the cat was gonna try begging for food anyway. It was about time for breakfast to be done and set so it was the perfect time unless he wanted some random bit of food they had out or whatever. He wouldn't complain but usually the freshly cooked food and stuff was a lot better. Nimbus didn't understand why the cat boy was so spacey and took a moment or so to reply. Perhaps the child was just shy? "Okay! We should head down then while the food is still warm." He purred before jumping off the bed and landing next to the butler's feet. Nimbus padded over to the door and looked back at the child, making sure he was following. The black cat slipped through the door and started down the familiar path that would eventually lead them to the kitchen, although Nimbus went slowly so he wouldn't lose the child butler. "So.. Are you new around here?" He asked, not sure if he had seen the child before or not. Probably not if the child didn't know or recognize him at all though.

"I guess you could say that but that's not always the case." Katheryne said softly, glancing around the house with curiosity. Sure, anything could happen with a little bit of love but you have to be willing to give that love to begin with. She noticed a lot of the furniture was covered to help preserve it over the years but she was sure whoever did it wasn't prepared for them to be covered for this long. When Evan started speaking again, Katie drew her attention back to him. "Well, that sounds good to me. It's been a long time since I've last had a hot shower or just.. Anything." How long had it been? Katheryne wasn't sure anymore, like the last time she had an actual meal or brushed her hair. It was safe to say a few years at least, since the last time Katie had an actual place to live. A disappointed look crossed her face as Evan totally missed her antbulance joke but it didn't matter much as she was lame at jokes anyway. "Um.. Sure. If I find any unwanted visitors, you will be the first to hear though." She said, still pretty worried of the creepy crawlies that could be hiding behind or under anything. Katheryne turned to face the room ahead of her, striding across to start removing the covers. She started with the couch, slowly pulling the film off to show off the beautiful red sofa that was underneath. Fascinated, she ran a finger lightly over the material before moving onto the rest of the furniture. It wasn't long before she got distracted by the black and white pictures that was hanging on the wall by the tv, many unfamiliar faces looking back. There was only one person in some of the pictures she had recognize, which of course, was Evan. The rest of the people, she could only assume, was his family members but she wasn't able to guess who was who. Katie took her time looking at the pictures and mused how alive, Evan looked so.. Lively. The werewolf understood why he wasn't anymore, besides being dead, but it was interesting to see the contrasting difference of the man in the picture and the man that she had met.

Adelia nodded in agreement, the ballroom was really kept in great shape even though it wasn't used all too often. She was going to reply why the place hold a value to her but it would have seemed he had noticed her looking over at the piano. The maid shyly nodded and said softly "Yes, I do play. That's actually why I came here.." She gave him a sheepish smile, unsure why he was smirking after he asked. "I don't think a nerve for adventure is the way to put it..." She said but trailed off, unsure of how to explain it. It was one of the only places that would let her in without too many questions, giving her boarding and food in exchange for work. "Oh..? That's an.. Interesting way to put it." She murmured, wondering if perhaps this meant that humans looked like horses or perhaps it was like that puppy cute thing. Either way, it started off as a flattering compliment to an awkward one.
