“I’ll try. I’m pretty banged up, and I lost a lot of energon.” The special ops. agent said as he inspected his arm and roof. Both were pretty badly damaged, but not mortal wounds. They weren’t leaking energon as badly either. He switched back to regular speaking to address Nightshade. “Their sending out a search party for me.”

"I can help you get back to where I found you." Nightshade offered. Tink, meanwhile, was back to being her worried self on the comm link as she fretted over him like a hen over her chicks.

Jazz nodded, attempting to stand as he reopened the comm link. “I think I’ll be able to make it. I just have to get up...” An audible gasp can be heard over the comm as Jazz attempts to stand, a jolt of pain shooting through his arm as he pulled himself up. “Don’t worry, I’m okay.” He said quickly, not wanting Tink to worry even more.

"No,you're not okay. Just stay there, I'll go with the patrol and track your signal." Tink said before ending the link.

"Here, let me help." Nightshade offered, holding her servo out to him. "It's the least I can do for an injured bot."

Jazz took it gratefully, giving a pained chuckle. “Thanks. We’d better get moving; she’s decided to come to us and is tracking my signal.” The bot rolled his eyes. He honestly was grateful for Tink’s concern. “You know, you can come with us. We could always use some more bots.”

Fear crossed her faceplate. "A-are you sure they'll take me in? Especially what I've done?" She asked, clearly nervous. She feared not only his reaction but the others reaction as well ifthey found out about her past.

“Of course! Prime looks for the best in everyone, and so do I. A few bots might take a while to warm up to you, but that’s natural.” Jazz replied, stumbling out of the cave with Nightshade’s help. “I’ll vouch for you.”

Nightshade gave him a small smile. "Alright. I'll come with you." She said.

"Jazz!" Tink called out, looking around for the Mech. "Jazz, where are you?!"

Jazz could hear Tink’s worried calling. “Over here!” He replied. He wondered how many bots she’d drug out there to find him. Think could be more stubborn and scary than Ratchet if she wanted to be.

Nightshade stood behind him, clearly still nervous about meeting them.

"Jazz!" Tink exclaimed as she ran over to him. "Where's the pain? How many digits am I holding up? Do you know where you are?"
