Imagine a time when kings and queens, lords and ladys, and knights in shining armor roamed the earth. A time when the vampires and werewolves, as always, fought amoungst each other, and witches, like usual, were stuck in the middle of their wars. This role play takes place in the middle of one particular war, or race, shall we call it. A race to break the curse.
This curse, known as the Midnight Curse, was created by the witches to limit the power of the vampires and werewolves. For the vampires, this involved turning the sun against them, making it burn them on contact. For the werewolves, the moon was turned against them, forcing them to change during every full moon. Everything has a loophole, though. Hundreds of years after the witches created the curse, younger witches created a way for the vampires and werewolves to sidestep the curse. By wearing a specially made ring, necklace, or bracelet that was bewitched by either a witch or a warlock, the vampires could walk freely in daylight and the werewolves could change whenever they liked. But it's not that easy. Making the rings are hard, and most witches won't do it. Only a select few have the honor of wearing a ring.

Today, at Bulerton Castle, vampires and werewolves race to end the curse for good. A group of vampires and werewolves have solved how to break the curse, and will stop at no end to finish it. Here's the catch. Whichever race is the one to break it, the opposite race will be stuck like how they are forever. Determined to finish first, the groups race against each other to break the curse.
For those of you that like The Vampire Diaries, this is like a prequel for the series.
