Gillian began to tune her sister out and thought back to when the earth shattering boom that had sounded not long after Jasmin had pulled her off to the side to have a little "chat" with her. She knew what it was going to be about, but she didn't really care. She wanted to know of anybody, specifically Noah, had been hurt, but her sister had decided that this was more important. She sighed, and looked anywhere but her sister's face as she ranted.

Jasmin was fuming. Here she was, trying to be nice about her sister's annoying tendency to drag her into her weird thing with Noah, and Gillian wouldn't even look at her, like she was the one in the wrong. "You know what Gillian, I don't even care. Next time you even think about trying to get me to tag along with you so you can stalk Noah, just don't. Just leave me alone, okay?" she yelled, and stormed away, in the same direction the other survivors had gone. After a while, she began to feel bad for leaving her alone like that, but she stopped when she remembered the look on her sisters face, like she was majorly inconveniencing her. She was so angry, she felt like she could punch a snow beast in the face. As she walked, she followed the tracks of the other survivors, in hopes of catching up.

Gillian followed a few yards behind her sister, knowing that she would calm down soon, and besides, she couldn't be that mad, right? She trekked through the snow, still thinking about Noah. She was seriously worried about him, and hoped they were going in the right direction when she saw a shelter a short ways ahead of them. She watched as her sister headed towards the shelter, and started to follow her, but decided to stay outside, just to think.
