The R.A.C.s
Robotic Animal Companions

Humans have recently made a huge breakthrough by making robotic animals to help humans. Humans bought several of these metallic creatures and they slowly became more like pets. That all changed with the creation of war R.A.C.s. These creatures were used as weapons rather than caretakers as they were originally created for. Now, the disagreements of humans have temporarily recalled all R.A.C.s and stored them all in a warehouse. Little did the humans know, the R.A.C.s are still active, and waiting to be released.

Rules:
Follow CS rules.
Please don't curse besides "heck" or "crap".
RACs don't die, they can shut down.
Chat with everyone before making massive plot points.
Make as many characters as you'd like. Just make sure you can handle them all.

The Warehouse
The warehouse is full of spare parts, unfinished robots, and R.A.C.s, either conscious or unconscious. There are shelves and locked garage doors that lead to the outside.

R.A.C.s
R.A.C.s can be any animal but are typically dogs or cats. There can be fur implanted into the metal to make animals fuzzy. Some of the R.A.C.s are broken, physically or mentally. Some of the R.A.C.s memories have been wiped while others have remained intact. Some R.A.C.s were made to care for humans while others were made for fighting.

The artificial lights flickered inside the warehouse, the home for all of the recalled R.A.C.s. There was no way to tell what time it was or how long they had been in there unless one told the other. Slowly, things started to become more active in the morning. Louis was the first to start walking around, as usual. He was the one to walk around the warehouse and check if anything or anyone had been moved, especially Sanya, who sat in the same place every day, only moving when she needed to. Then Lydia was up, typically writing her stories. Blair joined Louis in his patrol around the warehouse, to Louis's dismay. Then Moira joined Lydia in her stories. Zechariah and Oswald typically joined Addison to allow Oswald to finish his rants. When Oswald was done, he usually followed Zechariah or Addison around for the rest of the day. That's how things were every day until something changed. One morning, when Louis was on his patrol, he found a box of new parts. The funny thing was that they were shiny and silver as if they were freshly minted.

Scraps was just laying down in a corner next to a box on top of a box. He normally just sat in this corner all day, never moving, never saying anything. He almost looked like he had shut down, but no, he just didn't know what to do. Everyone had their own things to do everyday, so he thought his thing was to just sit and do nothing at all. Scraps did hear the commotion, but wasn't motivated enough to go and see what it was.

The usual rant that happened in the morning was moving closer and closer to Scraps. Oswald and Addison had decided to walk this morning. Oswald never seemed to be by himself, "And that is why I think I should have the best sleeping spot in the warehouse." Addison simply nodded along and kept his tail wrapped in Oswald's to guide him. "There's someone else over here, isn't there?" Oswald asked.

"It's Scraps," Addison replied.

Oswald smiled, "Oh, hello Scraps! How are you this fine morning... evening... whatever time it is?"

Scraps opened his eyes and lifted his head. "I am fine I suppose," Scraps spoke, his voice sounded raspy and changed three different octaves. "How are you?" Scrapes didn't normally try to make conversation, but he appreciated the kindness.

"I'm doing fine, but Addison said he heard something over here," Oswald stated, "Did you happen to see anything strange?" Oswald took a tiny step towards Scraps, allowing himself to let go of Addison's tail.

"I haven't moved in quite a while, but I haven't been looking. So no I don't believe so." This is the most Scraps had talked since all the animatronics had been sent here, he didn't know how to feel about it.

"Why don't we all go over and check? We could walk for a little while and Addison can tell me what's over there!" Oswald's voice was saturated with excitement. He really wanted to see what was over there. Addison simply rolled his eyes and shook his head. Addison seemed to be amused by this fluffy white R.A.C.

Scraps thought about it for a second. He didn't want to be a burden if he went, but now that he was asked, "Ok," he said simply, "It might take me a bit to get up." Scraps started to crawl himself up. First his front two legs straightened out before him and then lifted himself up. Then, one at a time, his back legs slowly picked themselves up and straightened out, thus lifting the rest of his body. His tail sagged on the floor, for he didn't have the strength to pick it up at the moment. He waited for them to lead the way.

"I don't mind," Oswald turned to the voice, "Who is that?"

"Maximus," Addison wrapped his tail around Oswald's and began traveling in the direction of the noise. Soon they all came across Louis, who had opened the box with his mouth. "It's Louis. He has a box," Addison stated.

"Addison!" Louis jumped, "You scared me. How are you all?"

"I'm doing well," Oswald smiled. He then started walking towards Louise's voice, "What's in the box?"

Louis dug around inside, "Just looks like spare parts."
