You have arrived on the distant planet, Aurion. It is very much like our Earth, except there are no humans, and it is much, much older. All the animals somewhat resemble those on Earth, but they have very noticeable differences, due to the different conditions they had to face. Keep on reading to learn how to adopt your own Aurionian!

This thread is for Refleurs!
About Refleurs:
Refleur (pronounced ray-flurr) are much like our foxes on earth, but there are a few distinct differences. For one, their eyes are completely black. The color you see is actually the skin surrounding the eyes, usually black on earth's foxes. They are also capable of breathing out a sort of colored mist; the closest thing to it on earth is the northern lights. They breathe this out in the sight of prey, surprising and enticing them. The beautiful sight stuns the animal, allowing them to attack and swiftly kill their prey before they know what hits them. Most of their prey consists of small mammals, fish, and insects.
On their shoulders and back, parasitic flowers grow. In exchange for nutrients and water, the flower generates energy through photosynthesis to give additional power to their host. The flowers often glow right after the refleur has gone for a swim or drank a lot of water. Also, when they sneeze seeds are blown out their nose, so that more flowers can sprout in the ground. (I am aware that this is indeed mutualism, not parasitism, but I've chosen to call them parasites for a few reasons.)
Their saliva is much like a dogs, in the sense that it has healing enzymes in it. However, their saliva is much more effective and heals wounds very quickly (1-2 days, or sometimes 6-12 hours if it is not a severe injury). Refleur are also mostly nocturnal, but they do walk about during evening and morning occasionally. They tend to live in small families, of about 6 or 7. In a litter there can be as many as 6 kits, though it is more common to see 4-5.
As for behavior, they are very graceful and majestic. Refleur in forests, near water sources. They make clicking noises mostly, and are very happy and contented creatures. They often play with pack mates and bounce around on their small but nimble legs. In the presence of predators, they will hide and use their flowers as camouflage. If cornered, they will breathe out their colorful mist, and stun the predator long enough to make an escape.

Rules
No copying designs or turning one of these into a fursona
You must have permission from me to own one
No whining if you do not win the Refleur you wanted
No copying the idea of Aurion or any of it's inhabitants (aurion species)
You may not own more than three total Refleur, so make sure the ones you adopt are ones you want
You may not sell your Refleur if you do not want it anymore
If you do not want your Refleur, or it goes inactive for too long, it will be put up for adoption again (with a confirming pm, I won't just take back your Refluer!)

Adoption
Few adults will be available for the first few months, but once there are enough adults, only kits of the existing Refleur will be available. The owner will be picked by whoever I believe will best take care of the Refleur, NOT the highest bidder. I may or may not assign a price to them, but instead chose the best applicant and give them their Refleur for free. Prices will be high, and only pets on my wishlist.
Later on, after many adults have been bred, I may release more adults to get new genes in the gene pool.

Breeding
Breeding two Refleur will be available after all adults have been adopted. Baby refleur have less flowers, and are much smaller. They will not become adults for a while, and stay with their parents for a long time. They are just learning to control their mist, and will not always use it at the right time, and usually can not use it for very long.
