Hi, not sure if this question belongs here or not. But any tips on adopting the re-released pets on the 18th? Adopt all 3 at the same time or adopt them one at a time? What has worked best in the past for you?

Adopting 3 at once or 1 at a time makes no difference on the outcomes. It is always by chance what you get.

Do not trade your re-released pets until you know what they are worth! Most users are willing to help you identify what pets you got.

Many people will auction newborns off if they have a chance at becoming a high-demand pet. It is something to keep in mind if you are bidding or auctioning.

i decided to collect all fennecs! they're my favorite animal and im really happy cs has fennec lines. i don't have much fodder, though, since i just joined, so im going to be stalking the free adopt boards until i build up fodder! (:

aaah, my poor chicken and bat collection has literally come to a standstill..
i either don't have the recent fodder to trade for one, or people don't want to
trade quantity that wouldn't add up to half of one my store pets xDd

I usually clean up my list by setting : what do I really want?
Right now my pet wishlist is only 3 pets
A missed outcome of day 2 of the advant calendar
A missed outcome from this year's staff pets
And the UR 2008 black cat.


As for my item wishlisy its bigger but still only one page. Its all the plushies Im missing for my collection. I tell ya, collecting plushies is hella hard. I basically dont have any fodder. The only thing I keep are semi list rares and very rares from 2008 for when I might find someone willing to trade away their 2008 reindeer plushie.

Otherwise fodder of beginner is mostly gifts from strangers. My first collection, the lion collection, was completed super duper fast thanks to a donor and I had all of them including the list lions. Then my interest switched and I used almost all of the lion collection to get a complete Warrior Collection including the Hollyfox Cat.
Plushie collections are huge which is why pretty much all of my potable fodder is gone, i can only rely on kind souls or people willing to trade down

Today I traded for another store pet, now these 5 are the last store pets I need until I have them all:




Thought they are probably easier ones to get, it’s extremely hard to find these and even harder to find someone who is willing to trade them without wanting an arm and a leg for them
So I guess I won’t finish this collection this year^^

I am also very close to finish my item collection, these are the last items I am missing (excluding still available store items):




The garlands are going to be the death for me. In months, I only found 2 people who still have complete sets and / or individuals, but they weren’t online for years..
I am so so happy that I was able to trade for the other items of this set a few months ago.

However, I am extremely proud that I have come so far yet, even if i won’t ever finish this collection, I am absolutely happy about what I reached!

And: my non list-collection ist down to about 4 pages of wishlist, that’s also great for me!

does anyone have any tips for gathering fodder for trades? im having trouble getting started trading.

I also feel like I have too many goals right now. I need to focus on maybe 1 or 2 groups at a time rather than like "my goal is to collect every pet on the site" cuz im literally just trading commons at this point

At first I got a start with free stuff from the adoption forum as fodder (unless they specifically stated they didn't want their adoptions to be used as fodder), then gathered C$ by selling extras and bought fodder with that. Auctioning bulk event tokens also helped a bunch with both C$ and fodder

Join flightrising! Seriously, if you play at minimal game play, you can sell your gathered items or dragons and use the currency to buy pets here below value. Many times i can find pets for 1 or 2 gems each and 5.9gems equals 1C$. But any cheap pets, especially older ones and eventually yoyou too can build a HUGE trade folder

I used to get lots of trades during the holidays but I'm hardly getting any

I guess I will just have to wait until after Christmas to really get back into my trades and auctions.

So there are only 10 fennecs missing for a full collection! I also started a staff pet collection, but there are lots missing ^^

I probably won´t be able to finish my fennec collection this year- I still need the UR and don´t have enough fodder right now. But I´m happy with the progress I´m making

Been searching like crazy for the last PPS Cat I need but still no luck sadly.
Maybe once I build up so fodder I can finally get the PPS Dragon Cat.
My PPS Cat Collection has been holding strong though with newer PPS Cats coming out almost every month!

My PPS Owl Collection is finished until new ones end up coming out.
The Starry PPS Owl was one of the hardest to get so that was fun.

My PPS Fox Collection is doing pretty well just missing one or two I believe

I'm slowly coming to a roadblock with only rares & very rares being what I still need.
Struggling now that 3 of the 2012 store pet ones are on the advent list now.
I have 0 fodder to get these guys LOL.
With my Butterfly Wolf Collection I am only collecting the full grown ones.
Not the PPS cocoons or caterpillars.

WOW! That's an impressive bwolf collection you've got there! I'm also struggling to get the last bwolves I need...Mostly list and store pet ones, and I have essentially no (tradable, old) rares. I'm super envious of your UR bwolf o,v,o So luckyyy! Although I guess I'm really fortunate in my own, small way to have bought the 2012 bwolves when they were initially released...Are they really list pets now?? Whoa.
