the sturdy tom relaxed laying at the entrance of the primary cave. his golden gaze scanning the
churning ocean waters below him. the heat soaking into his pale fur, what he would give for a
nice swim in the tides right around now. Before becoming leader he had been a swimmer and
often found himself missing the vast expanses of ocean with nothing but water beneath his paws.
but there was work to be done, and none of it would get done with him merely laying about.
and so he rose, it was time to travel to the scribe caves. hopefully his ancestors would bless him
with another clan member, any would do. He needed more paws. and paws is what he would pray for.

once he had finished his request, larkstar rose from his resting position and made his way to
the top layer opening up into the forest. though not entirely his expertise, he would hunt
in the forest just as his clan mates did. and off he went, to patrol more or less but to hunt as well.

Larch's Advance
All saplings should be able to thrive, nurture that life and let it grow!

The woods were dark. Shadows played across the grass and the moon glowed eerily and ravens darted to and fro across the trees and it was all so strange to the newcomers. The glow from the stars revealed two white and brown tabbies carefully explored their new surroundings, examining the larch trees as they looked for somewhere to rest. There were recent scents of cats but no territory seemed to be marked: it was only the recent scents of the inhabitants that showed that this patch of land belonged to someone.

"Who do you think owns this land?" the smallest of the tabbies asked in a quivering voice as she gently trod along with her mate. Her name was Pebblesong, and she was a short-furred she-cat with mostly white fur, and tabby markings dotted on her fur. "Some rogues probably, but maybe a clan," her larger companion meowed hopefully, shaking out his long tabby fur. His name was Wavecall, and he was anxious about finding shelter in time despite his usual carefree attitude. "If it is a clan, do you think they will welcome us?" Pebblesong questioned, looking around anxiously.

Suddenly her ears were tuned to the sound of pawsteps and her gaze flicked towards a pile of leaves suddenly standing up and shaking itself to reveal a white she-cat with pale grey tabby markings on her face."What do you think you are doing here?" a few steps forward and a snarl from the cat was enough to make Pebblesong shiver, but she stood her ground. Wavecall jumped at the sound but wondered in confident tones, "do you have a leader?" and her eyes glinted in as she registered his question. "Of course we do. We are the noblest group in this forest! I am Copper in Cavern Walls, a former warrior of BasinClan and now a warrior of this clan." She explained, puffing out her chest proudly. The two new arrivals to the area nodded, a little wary still but wanting to find out more. "What's your clan called?" Pebblesong pressed on quietly. "We don't really have a name," Copper in Cavern Walls admitted, sheepishly looking at her paws. "I can take you to our leader and his council though!" she meowed, flicking her tail towards them, "Follow me."

more droughts towards the middle of green-leaf. the cats in your clan
can get dehydrated easier during green-leaf than they would in other
seasons. your clan will still receive new cats, but not as much as you
would in new-leaf.

lizardpath, harefoot, and silverpaw will be well looked after in starclan.
• the clan eventually wanders into a thick forest at the seat of jagged, menacing
mountains. nestled at the base of the mountains is a large cave that seems fit to
call a camp. prey like squirrels, mice, and birds appear to be abundant in the
forest, and a creek runs through it. the climate is reasonable, if a bit cooler than
the cats are accustomed to for green-leaf.

Weather - Green-Leaf
Summer. Summer starts with little warning.
One day, intense rain falls cover the clans' lands, and the
next, the sun blazes down on them instead.
The sudden brightness quickly dries up the puddles and
flooding that many clans have encountered, but the extent
of them means some floods can still be found.
Additionally, the sudden brilliant heat means that forest
fires are beginning to break out among the hotter clans.
Of course, some days are still colder than others, but for
most, the sun is certainly proving its fiery reputation.
Prey can feel the heat too, and fortunately, most clans
send out their patrols in mornings and evenings, the only
time that the prey can bear during the day.
Some mothers might be exhausted by the heat, but certainly
their kittings should still be faring well for a while.
