They're based of off Hannukah gelt, which are chocolate coins given as presents on Hannukah.

I'm really happy we got a menorah this year! (As opposed to the menorah pets. Those are cute, but my favorite part is always dressing up my Hannukah pet). It's a super gorgeous one too, but a little unwieldy! I might have to do a bit of rearranging to get mine fully showing without hiding my pet. How are y'all displaying yours? (if you're using them that is c:)

I have to say, I never realized how perfect that pet is for Hanukkah dress-ups before. What a fitting choice, and they're looking mighty cozy there, too :D

This Menorah is absolutely beautiful! <3 I love owls!
Is there a reason behind it being an owl (as in do owls relate to the holiday of Hanukkah in any way), or was it just a design that was come up with?

Im glad people like the owl. I hope the unconventional shape has not offended anyone who does celebrate the holiday. We get traditional shaped ones every year, thus I wanted to try my hand at something different this year

The dog and the two mid-stage PPS deer are Sufganiyot, a type of jelly doughnut. I'm not sure about the EPPS, I've seen someone suggest it could be based off Latke?
