i could see future dlc maybe coming since in october it was hinted that current big title games could be seeing more dlc. i'd put splatoon 2 in that group of big title games given it's sales numbers. but only time will tell if it's actually true or not. for all we know splatoon could get the mario treatment and somehow get spinoff titles or something along those lines. but i mean they did this with the first game as well so it is no surprise

as for the upcoming splatfest, i will probably be going team family just for the gold color to tell ya the truth. that usually how my friends and i pick a side we all go to lol

Yeah, ik they did it in the first Splatoon but after Octo expansion I figured they'd just keep Splatoon 2 as is and keep adding onto it. But yeah, we'll see.

I used to pick Pearl's side because she was winning a majority of the splatfests at one point lmbo, and I'm so salty I missed the Halloween splatfest

also, X rank recalculations began! i got 2382 power for splat zones. grr. but i hear blackbelly is getting yet another revamp, so this'll be interesting...

Yeah, I'm bummed that the Splatfests will be ending next July, but at least I'll get to enjoy them, I barely got to do any of them in the first game. If they add more DLC, I might keep playing after Splatfests are over, but it depends on what said DLC contains. I'm not proud of myself, but I basically skipped my way through the Octo-Expansion. In one of the fan fictions I'm planning, it takes place three years after the events of Splatoon 2, and the enemies aren't the Octarians anymore, the Octarians and Inklings have actually become friends again, and this time the villains are the Salmonids, and there's much more different types that there were in Splatoon 2, but I'm still having trouble thinking of what I can use to replace the bosses in Hero Mode, I don't want to use Boss Salmonids though

tis a shame that you skipped your way through octo expansion. as frustrating as it could be at times, it was a fantastic dlc. i'd say maybe even one of the better dlcs from switch games though xenoblade 2 dlc kinda puts everything else to shame but i digress

as for rank x calcs, for my first month of being in x i feel i fared decently for myself though there is plenty of room for improvement. only got 2100, but hey i didn't lose my rank so i'm cool with it. hopefully i can actually keep it up this month though smash might put a damper on that lol my competitive smash player calls to me again

also please give blackbelly a revamp. i absolutely hate that map

i don't really know, i kinda like blackbelly's map (at least on splatoon one, i forgot if they changed it on splatoon two)
i seriously was so made when i found out that they didn't keep the turf war soundtracks from the first game, like that was my life. anyway, what weapon do you guys recommend for close range on splatoon two? i'm using some varient of duelies, (if that's how you spell it lmao) but i'm sure there is something better?

eh skatepark is kinda a nightmare in zones and isn't all too great in tower though the latter isn't as bad as the former. not sure if that's just me here, but i know a bunch of my other splatoon friends agree with that. even with rails added i still don't think it's all that great of a map lol
