"Oh? I thought you were going to get her." she said softly as she looked at the pup, movng so she could stroke her hair.

"That was my intention, but I don't want to interrupt." she murmured, relaxing as Hylda came over. She shut her eyes, clinging to herself as she would normally do with Scarlett. It felt strange to be hugging herself, but Alessa didn't say anything.

Hylda gently stroked her hair, watching her, she looked over at a knock on the door and smiled a little when she saw Emma with a newly cleaned Scarlett, she was looking fluffier since her fur had been washed and brushed, but she didn't have any added stuffing, and her eyes were shinier and bright, Emma had cleaned them and removed any scuffs or scratches.

Alessa's ears twitched as she heard the knocking. The pup sat up and wagged her tail as Scarlett was brought to her. She took Scarlett from Emma and clung onto the toy. "Thank you, Emma!" she said happily. Alessa laid down again, slightly burying her nose into Scarlett; she liked the new scent rather than the smell of the hospital with a hint of ash and smoke.

Emma nodded silently and left, going bac to the room her and Storm were staying in, Hylda smiled as she looked at Alessa, "Well, look at you to, all spiffy now." she said warmly.

Alessa's tail thumped on the bed as she held onto her friend. "I do feel a lot better." she said softly. Alessa then moved to get up and cling to Hylda.

Hylda nodded and smiled, hugging Alessa close and rubbing her back, "I am glad you are feeling better." she said softly as she looked down at her.

Alessa sighed happily, just enjoying Hylda's warmth and attention. She climbed into Hylda's lap and curled up. She then paused as she felt her stomach growl. "Oh..." she said quietly.

Hylda chuckled, "Want to go eat?" she asked with a warm smile as she picked up the pup and headed downstairs with her, knowing she needed to eat before she napped.

"Of course, I never pass up food." said Alessa softly. She didn't mind as she was carried downstairs. Alessa wasn't sure what she wanted to eat. "Do you have any ideas for lunch?" asked Alessa.
