You guys left the new park;
Even though Ivan and I wanted to explore, or rather I’d agreed to his desire, Nel and Carri said we should leave. Shrugging, I turned and followed, hearing Ivan grumble behind us. However, he too eventually turned and began to follow the rest of us.
Exploring for Original park;
We rode the Grels as usual, easier than walking on foot. Plus, it wouldn’t make sense walking when we already had them there. We wound down trails, left and right, getting turned around once or twice. Guess you could almost call that being lost. Amrik squealed when a howl set up, a howl all too familiar to me...We’d managed to find the park, there it was right in front of us, I just knew it was the right one this time.
Arriving at the Original Park;
The Grels squealed and pranced or danced before the entrance of the park. A smile lit up my face, as I looked upon it, the beautiful place. I’m sure I was the only one of us who’d been here once before, because the others looked to me, didn’t act how I was. Shrugging, I led the way, Ivan mere feet behind me. It was about lunchtime now, so we settled near the well, there it was. We ate the food and drank water, then poured water into cupped hands for our Grels to partake, should they want it. We then decided to do some exploring, until we heard a sound...

You guys left the new park; After dismounting and poking around this new space or a while, I determined that there was nothing of real interest to be found. Doc agreed with me. While I was exploring, he simply ambled over to stand in the shade of The Big Old Tree and took a nap! As it was too early for lunch, I didn't want to linger for long. There were no new mushrooms here to occupy me, and I wanted to leave WELL before dark today. Thus I went, roused Doc, climbed into the saddle, and picked a path at random. I didn't bother consulting the map. It obviously hadn't done me any good so far.

Exploring for Original park; It took us an hour to find the original park, and it was quite by accident! We simply wandered around on the forest trails. We took turn after turn without any real rhyme or reason, and for a good chunk of the time I was simply letting Doc have his head. I trusted him and he trusted me, so all was well. We even stopped a couple of times so I could dismount and look at and look at interesting mushrooms! Though once I heard a wolf's howl echo through the woods, I stopped doing this for safety's sake. I hadn't known wolves were active at this time of day! Furthermore, while I was more or less enjoying myself (it was far to early to panic about being lost), I WASN'T thrilled about the time we were wasting. At this rate, I was concerned we'd be stuck in the middle of the woods come nightfall, despite my best efforts, and if we were hearing wolves NOW.. well! That would be tons of fun!

Arriving at the Original Park; When we came upon the grassy clearing, I initially thought we'd managed to go back to the WRONG park (for the third time). The moment I laid eyes on the wishing-well, however, I knew I was wrong. We'd finally gotten to the right place! And without running into that dratted nuisance of a mystery Grel or being eaten by slavering canines! Grinning from ear-to-ear I walked Doc over to the nearest tree and dismounted. I then left him to his own devices for a bit while I stretched my legs and casually searched the ground for hoof-prints that could possibly belong to the stallion I'd met last night. Doc was shod and had never been here before, so it was quite easy to tell his tracks. Especially since his were the only ones about besides my own. How strange...

Still pondering this, I made my way back to where Dock was waiting patiently and began unpacking my lunch.
