I received a stuffed animal dog back in Grade 1 as a 'good luck' present from a guy in my class when I was selected to represent the school in a spelling bee, and somehow still have it. xD

What is the smallest thing that bugs you?

When people don't use their manners, since I found after working as a waitress I really did feel better when people were appreciative of me and treated me like a person. A simple 'thank you' was super encouraging, especially after dealing with mostly rude customers.

To anyone:
When did you first start drawing (cs or digitally)? I started digital art for the first time in early 2017, after I joined. It was my first experience ever with digital art! if you look at my first drawing (haha, it's bad, but I didn't delete it since It shows how much I have improved!) And then look and my recent drawings, you notice a big difference. CS has changed my life, I would've never gotten this great at drawing w/o chickenpaint/chickensmoothie :).

I've been drawing since 2009, just because of my big sister, who is a great artist and I wanted to be like her, now I'm much better then her *sweats*.

That's really cool, I'm so glad to hear this was such a great opportunity for you! I took a peek at your gallery and it is really amazing to see the improvement, great work! You have such a nice style - your eyes especially really catch my eyes lol!

I started drawing digitally sometime around 2008? But I didn't stick with it, just little things here and there. I joined CS in 2012 and tried to get started in the oekaki, but unfortunately at the time my computer stopped being able to run oekaki for several years, and I didn't start up with digital art again until spring of 2017! I've drawn a lot traditionally, but I'm definitely still new to the digital art world. :) I hope to get myself a tablet someday - and hopefully continue to improve!

What is the smallest thing that bugs you?

When my fiance tapes down the spray nozzle on our kitchen sink - he's gotten me with that prank WAY too many times lol. Mostly I get a kick out of it but it also isn't fun to be soaking wet, and I don't love that part of it.

I don't think my holidays will be too special - I'll go visit my parents and get to see my little sisters, so that'll be nice. Some years we head south to see my grandparents, but not this year!

I have three little plants (Conophytum calculus) that are about the size of a pencil eraser that I love a stupid amount. They're perfectly round.

That's a haaard choice.
I love Emmet Otter's Jug-band Christmas.
I also love the old stop motion movies (Rudolph, Here Comes Santa Clause, etc). I think my favorite scenes are the Heat and Snow Miser scenes in The Year Without a Santa Clause.

My custom is Thea, my hedgehog! I didn't necessarily draw or design her, but I was so excited to have a CS pet to immortalize my precious little potato.

I have a very bad habit of biting my fingernails, a lot of the time without even realising I'm doing it. I've been trying to get out of it the last few months but I haven't quite got there yet lol

Probably the late friend. I'm never usually late to important things, like lectures or interviews, but when it comes to meeting my friend group I'm usually late. Not stupidly late but they once said I'd be the one paying for the drinks all night if I was the last one to arrive lol

I wouldn't say I treasure it dearly, but I have a crystal pendant, like this one, that I randomly bought once. It's amethyst, my birthstone, and it used to be a necklace until the chain snapped so now it's on my car keys. It's kinda like a good luck charm.

I'm probably just going to go home and spend time with my family and see all my friends. I think I only have 3 or 4 weeks with them until I have to be back at university, so I want to make the most of it. I can't wait haha.

I don't actually celebrate any winter holidays (my family doesn't exchange gifts or anything) but we do get together at the end of December because everyone tends to have time. I'll be visiting my family and in-laws for a few weeks with my wife!

I participate in a lot of poetry slams and you tend to draw a number at the beginning of the competition to tell you what order you'll go in. When I do well I keep the little piece of paper with the number on it in my phone case until the next time I do well, and then I switch to the new number.

I flew a kite as recently as a few years ago! My family took one on a beach vacation.

I have been dubbed "UncleAunt" to go with my friends who are "MomDad" and "DadMom" lol. Not really sure what it means but there are times when I'm pretty mom friend. However, most of the time I can be looked to for advice without condemning whether you follow it or not and I supply memes and shoulder pats for whatever trying time someone is having.
