Slenderpaw padded away from Scamppaw quickly, not wanting to be bothersome. She decided to try her luck at hunting again, although her paw still throbbed from the encounter with the rabbit. She glanced around the camp quickly, for some reason wanting to make sure she would be alone, and left the camp. The apprentice trotted through the warm trees, not bothering to stay quiet, and came to a halt when she heard a familiar sound. A rabbit nibbling. Slenderpaw crouched swiftly, and quick as a bullet lunged at the hare. It tried to run at the last second, but it was not lucky, and perished under the tooth of the black cat.
