Still trying to catch up, but apparently things went down in e9 of banana fish.

...I knew what happened, but seeing it animated is heartbreaking ;.;

PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY WATCHING BANANA FISH? It's so underappreciated from what I've seen. Idk though, I've been avoiding it on Tumblr like the plague because I'm afraid to see what the fandom is like.
Ugh, I know what's going to happen because of the manga but I'm still so not ready. I really can't wait for my favorite character to show up though.

Edit: also, is anyone gonna cosplay an anime character for Halloween?

I won't be cosplaying for Halloween, because Halloween isn't really a big thing here. But there's a convention around here that's happening on October 6th! I'm sewing a Mikan Tsumiki cosplay for it!

I've watched a bit of banana fish, and will probably binge it when the full series is out. From what I've seen, my favourite is Shorter but... I know what happens in Episode 9, and there's 15 more after that.
The fandom seems to be almost the same as the Yuri!! On Ice fandom. In both good ways and bad.

ahh i'm not sure if i'm going to cosplay for halloween, probably since i usually cosplay at cons.

my last con was momocon 2018 where i cosplayed as runa yomozuki from kakegurui! it was a great experience and i'm thinking about going again next year.

i've heard its good but i haven't seen or read banana fish yet!! let me know if i should. :Oc

i'm thinking of cosplaying as rem or ram for my next convention! not that it's any time soon, but i really love them both and i found a cheap cosplay of them online. (i suck at making my own costumes rip) however, i reaaally wanted to go as crossdressing nagisa from that one episode of assassination classroom. ^^' tbh that scene was hilarious and i just love nagisa as a character.

please let me know who you think i should cosplay as..! i need ideas ahha ><

side tangent;; i'm starting to get into manga, or at least trying to. currently reading the manga for kakegurui and assclass, since the anime for both of them were great! if you have any manga recommendations hmu.

Halloween isn't really a big thing here (either) but there's a small con around the end of october here that I'll hopefully be cosplaying at! My next project is Kakashi from Naruto so I'm pretty excited about that^^

I don’t know for sure if I’m going to be going out for Halloween, but if I do! I’m hoping to
dress up as Izuku Midoryia. 💞 hopefully. If not for Halloween, then def hoping to do so

So. F i n a l l y , after a year of my good friend trying to get me to watch the anime, I started to get into bnha and i've read up to vol. 8. I am addicted.
I'm reading the manga before I watch the anime, because I think it'd be cooler to experience it through the manga first.


anyway, I wanted to get you guys to at least watch the first two episodes of a new anime: Zombieland saga. Go in blind. It is a riot.

so i just finished the first season of this anime
called 'made in abyss' and it was seriously
so amazing and perfect. i tend to only stick
to romance anime, but this was a wonderful
exception. the art style and execution is
breathtaking. it was by far one of my favorite
action/adventure/slice of life animes to this day.

anyways, does anyone have any non mainstream
romance recs? i need some for my free time and
to continue living oof.

Have you watched Your Lie in April? It's got the same emotional level as Made in Abyss except it's geared more towards being sad than being terrifying! If you enjoyed the cute aspect of Made in Abyss though, maybe you should watch Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, it's one of my favorites!

This may be too mainstream but Madoka Magica is very similar to Made in Abyss and I'd reccomend giving ur a watch. I've also heard that Girl's Last Tour was similar but I haven't seen it myself to be sure.

BNHA is really hyped here xD I've not seen the newest season yet as I'm rewatching season 1 & 2 first, but it's great^^

I forgot to reply to this, but as far as I've seen, Banana fish doesn't have a problematic fan base? For now, at least. I know a good portion of the people are going in blind so that'll probably change by the last episode. So yeah, for now we're good.

i haven’t been here in some time (glad to see it’s still lively)

i’ve gotten into bnha recently and i’m caught up with the anime ! put it off for some time but it’s nice to try somethin new.
otherwise, i’m curious to know if anyone else is aware of mob psycho 100’s return next year.
(if i missed any discussion about it, please forgive me.)
