^ I'm the same way, I'm just not a con person. And there's absolutely NONE anywhere near me.

I'd like to volunteer to be a mascot or character of some sort for my Church's VBS in summer though. And next Halloween I want to hand out candy at trunk or treats and trick or treating on trails. If you have any furry friends (I don't sadly) then I've heard that fursuiting in public is fun with furry groups. Also look out for fairs and parades and events where you might be welcome. In all situations you should call ahead and make sure it's okay. But apart from that, all I can do is try and find every excuse to fursuit. Haha.

^same though lol. I’m both broke and in the middle of mowhwre. Luckily today I had a robotics competition and was able to pass off as a “mascot” for my team XD totally having fun and I’ve been able to wear this head for a few hours now with little problem! I’m going to try to wear this as much as I can

this isn't exactly fursuit related, but as far as i'm aware, there isn't a general furry thread, so i thought i'd share this little story here lol

so about a month or two after my boyfriend and i started dating, he told me he used to be a furry in like 2015 or something, and as of recently he has accepted that he's a furry again and i think it's kind of my fault lmao
basically, i reverted/turned my boyfriend into a furry :')

to be fair, once a fur, always a fur

Hello! I'm thinking of buying a suit. Though I have a problem, would my fursona's design be too hard?


I'm thinking of keeping her as just an art fursona and have a fursuit fursona!

I think it would be possible, though definitely quite expensive! You may have to remove the freckles however, as the only way to get such fine detail on fabric is airbrushing, which may prevent you from being able to clean the face.
If you want to save money then I'd definitely recommend either making another fursona for the fursuit or simplifying Pin to have a few large and basic markings instead of complicated spots and stripes. her colors are compatible with fur fabric though, I've seen all of those colors around.

Actually, there is a furry thread. It's just not very active at the moment.

I really want a fursuit of my `sona but they're too complicated for me to make myself and they're gonna cost a fortune in resin alone. Digitigrade legs, four horns, large ears, super long tail (preferably of a fairly sturdy material), wings (small ones), moveable eyebrows.....forget that only three colors of fur are needed. Melti's the one in my signature and avatar.

Since we were just on the topic of fursonas compatible with fursuiting, I did want to ask a question about mine. I don't have an image of it at this point in time (I just recently got done with a redesign and haven't made any coherent art of it yet), so I'll try to describe this the best I can.

I've tried google searching to see if anyone's done a fursuit with multiple mouths/jaws on the head before, and so far my search has turned up empty. My sona has three mouths crammed into the snout, all stacked on one another. I'm not sure if this is something that's entirely possible, which I can thankfully just revert back to the old single-mouth design if so. I know this probably mostly depends on the skill of the maker, so I'd have to choose wisely, but still.

Of course, if it is possible, I'm aware that it'd DEFINITELY add to the cost. I just want to know if it can be done. I can update with a picture of it when I can get around to drawing it.
