I fear for the gods you claim to worship,
You honor not their sacrifice and mercy.
I fear for the creatures you hold in your grip,
You care not for their lives or tranquility.
Perhaps some day a god will escape
From that tiny world you call your mind,
And perhaps some day a creature will make
A plot to destroy all that is holy and kind.
You feel not for those you deem to be lesser,
You claim you are above morality.
But when you finally reach the æther,
You will realize your own grim mortality.
I fear for the gods you claim to worship,
For they see your soul as it truly is.
A disgusting, shriveled, and vile kinship
With those who know Hell to be home.

Debris of a long-lost melody will bring about tomorrow.
I suppose I may see you there.
Will there ever be a tomorrow that is to come in which
I do not think of you?
What is it about you that has affected me so deeply?
Why do my thoughts center around you?
Who are you to be able to control me like this?
When will I finally meet you?
I fear that tomorrow will never come,
Each day I lose more of that song.
And yet I continue waiting with baited breath
As I drum out the beat and softly sing along.
