With leaf-bare coming and prey becoming scarce Hazestar began to worry about the rogue group living so close to the clan's border. The tabby tom passed back and forth just outside his den, his tail twitching in annoyance. Noticing his leader growing a bit irritated Owlstorm made his way over to the other tom. He cleared his throat a bit, causing Hazestar to stop and look at his deputy. Upon seeing Owlstorm, Hazestar relaxed a bit and gave the tom a small smile. "Yes Owlstorm?" he asked.

"Well I see your on edge. I can only guess it's because of the rogues. I'll take a patrol out and see if we can't try to convince them to join. With the colder weather and prey becoming scarce I'm sure they'll start starving once again. We can benfit from more cats to help catch prey." Olwstorm explained.

Hazestar smiled a bit and nodded his head a bit. "I agree. Take Hayfur, he knows them and may be able to help you. The rest of the patrol is up to you." he meowed softly. Owlstorm nodded before leaving Hazestar alone once again.

A moon had passed and Lionfang was still unsure how he would get Kuru to join the clan with out the other tom's sister finding it out. The large orange tom sat in his usual spot, his head in the clouds. He was so lost in thought he didn't hear Cherryshine speak.

Cherryshine and her patrol last moon had escaped from a fox, but now the clan had to figure a way to drive it off the territory. Noticing Lionfang unusually lost in thought that day the dark orange tabby padded over and meowed "Hello." upon no signs of hearing her the older she-cat gently swatted at the large tom. The sudden touch caused the tom to snap back to reality, his eyes landing on Cherryshine. "Oh good to see your back with us." she purred, a smile on her face.

"Sorry Cherryshine.... I'v been trying to think of way to smuggle that rogue Kuru into our clan with out his sister finding out. Although a rogue he seems very willing to join. I have already talked to Hazestar about it and he's accepting of this." Lionfang explained. He wasn't much of a talker, but he had grown close to Cherryshine and her kits over the moons.

Listening to the tom speak, the she-cat quickly perked up. "Remember that fox we came across last moon? Well since the patrol was so small we didn't risk it and got away. It's still hanging around. Maybe you fake his death with the fox and drive the fox towards the rogues. It'll get the fox off our territory and cause the rogues to move away. They would have no choice but to accept the fact that they lost Kuru to the fox." Cherryshine babbled. Her eyes glittered with excitement, happy to have helped out her best friend.

Swivelspear had been going mad with the riddle, determined to gain new members for HazeClan. How could she let a loner crawl under her skin like the one did. However she had been thinking it over for some time and decided she would start with the streams. Something about the abandoned house just seem to obvious. Knowing a few of of the younger cats might be up for cat hunting Swivelspear quickly got a party around before heading.

Along side her padded Windsong, a she-cat just a few moons older then her. Windsong was there when the loner confronted Swivelspear and had grown curious as well. "So why are you so dead set on this Swivelspear? Out of most of us here your very hot headed and normally don't hesitate to lash out." she teased. In return Swivelspear shot the other she-cat a glare before letting out a small chuckle.

"You know something about that other tom, the shyer one of the two just made me want to find him. He didn't seem to be to keen on the other tom being so friendly." Swivelspear explained.

**Last Moon Flashback**

Disappointed in risking not only his live, but the lives of his clan mates to rescue Kuru only to not find the tom left Lionfang angry and frustrated. He was a trusting tom and couldn't believe he let some cat use him like they did. Letting out a frustrating sigh the large golden tom leaned heavily into the fur of Cherryshine. The orange and white tabby she-cat had become his close friend of many moons and knew how to comfort him in times of need. "I'm sorry Cherryshine..." he mumbled into the she-cats fur.

Swivelspear sat near the stream with Windsong after their failed attempt to find a lone tom. She had let another loner get in her head and send her on a wild chase. "Windsong, I was foolish to even listen to that tom." she hissed, glaring at her reflection in the water. She let out another hiss before striking the water in anger. Windsong let out a small sigh and sat next to the black and white she-cat. "It's okay. You where doing what you though was right... Maybe the one tom will show up on his own. If not then neither toms where meant to join HazeClan."
