To her surprise, her new little chimchar rose it’s efforts and took a nice swing at the little lillipup.

The Lillipup took the scratch and took 20 damage! Lillipup shook it's fur and uses tackle against Udia. It looks like your attack is working!

"is everything alright?" she whispered gently, leaning down so she was eye level
with her pokemon. he glanced at her a moment before returning his gaze to wh
at had drawn his interest. peekos followed his gaze to a bush that had just begu
n to rustle. she got to her feet and started forward quietly to inspect the bush r
ight as a popplio popped out of the bush, eying her curiously. peekos' eyes wide
ned in surprise and she pulled out her pokedex, allowing it to scan the pokemon
in front of her. "popplio, the bubble pokemon. this pokemon can control wate
r bubbles. it practices diligently so it can learn to make big bubbles.

peekos straightened her posture and looked at her mudkip, who returned her ga
ze. the determination that was in her own eyes had been reflected in his. "let's
do this!" she had heard from many of her friends who had already started their
adventures that it was best to weaken the pokemon before attempting to catch i
t. even the pokemon professor had told her the same thing. "go, mudkip!" mudkip
ran out in front of the popplio, getting into a fighting stance. the popplio seemed
to understand what was occurring and scrambled out of the bush to face off again
st mudkip. "now, mudkip, use tackle!"

"Also Brand has his flame on his tail so it won't be so dark" Lex smiled and Brand chipped bravely, while her other pokemon aren't so sure about the dark

The poppilo took the hit, its now at 5/8 hitpoints, it was kinda low of a level.. Possibly level 3?

Anna was excited to meet her very first Pokemon. The Professor picked this one out
just for her, so she hoped they'd get along well. She stepped through the door to see
Professor Kukui there, a Pokeball in hand. "Hey! Welcome to the lab! Your new Pokemon
has been itching to see you, so I won't hesitate much longer." He tossed the Pokeball to
the ground, and out popped a Popplio, smiling and wagging its tail. "She's rather cheerful,
so I thought you'd enjoy that." said Kukui. "Oh, she's wonderful!" Anna replied. Popplio
seemed just as happy to see her new trainer. She pushed the Pokeball over to Anna's feet.
Anna laughed. "I'm glad you're just as ready as I am to start this journey!" She picked up
the Pokeball and motioned Popplio to come follow. "Thanks so much, Kukui!" Anna called
as they walked out of the lab doors side by side.

A Bellossom came out of a bush, curious over popplio, it seems to be friendly and offers popplio the berry it was holding.

"Sapphire" Persian - Female - Lax - Power gem, Shadow claw, night slash thunderbolt - Is one of Mimi's favorites, Is curious of everything, is best friends with chomps because they are both curious.

"Vizi" Virizion - Genderless - Serious - Sacred sword, Toxic, Giga drain, X-Scissor - Some pokemon are still afraid of them.

"Flare" Infernape *Shiny*- Female-Timid- Mach punch, brickbreak, flame thrower, toxic - Mimi's starter, best friend.

"Memory" giratina *shiny* - Genderless - Naughty - *moveset mentioned later* - Often doesn't care about anything/will attack anything with no guilt.

"Destiny" Reshiram *Shiny*- Genderless - Hardy - Blue Flare, Outrage, Fusion Flare, Solar beam - Is jelious of Flare and Roli.

"Welp.. the cave or the lady first?" Mimi asked Lex, Bendychu giving the signal for the lady by tilting its head to the direction away from the cave.. Seems like bendychu doesn't like caves..

"Nine!" Ninepix came out of their pokeball and bendychu hid behind them, it was kinda cute.

Curious over the sound of the pokeball, a Zeraora came over and offers a berry to mudkip in sorry for its Popplio friend attacking them, it seems quite friendly!

Lex found Bendychu cute and smiled sweetly, she thought him being scared at the dark was pretty adorable.
"I agree with Bendychu, we should have permission for Erika to come, and she'll protect us if anything goes wrong," Lex said as she scratched the back of her neck, unsure what will happen in the cave.
Brand puffed out smoke and looked down at Lex, since he was on her head still. Lex rolled her eyes and giggled,
"Yes..You can protect us too Brand.."
Brand raised his head in bravery while Dart snickered a bit, Brand puffed out smoke again at Dart.
Lex started to think and look at Quetzal.
"Also i think this is where Quetzal lived, maybe she could lead the way as well."

Seems like destiny thought of that too, they came out of their pokeball and played with brand some, though they were pretty big..

Out of all the roughhousing, Mimi just talked to lex like was used to this. "Yeah, both of our teams both have some weak spots in them.. especially mine since i keep mostly a mixed bag.. ... either way, i need to check on my box before we go in there, suspecting mostly ghost types though, but you don't know."

Brand looked at Destiny and wagged his tail, he jumped off Lex's head and played with Destiny playfully. Lex continued to talk to Mimi,
"Well since i just started, my pokemon is a much lower level..But the good thing i could train up and maybe evolve Brand, Dart or even Quetzal." Lex said rubbing her chin,
"Alright, let's go get your stuff, go the the small shop, and go to the cave..I also need more items..I onyl have 2 potions and 1 berry left..but Quetzal keeps finding random berries so i don't think berries would be a problem.."
