the four elements. fire, air, earth, and water. the thirteen zodiac. aquarius, libra, gemini. sagittarius, leo, aries.
virgo, taurus, capricorn. cancer, scorpio, pisces... and ophiuchus. nobody speaks about ophiuchus. nobody th
inks about ophiuchus. nobody is born of ophiuchus. at least, that's what everybody thought.
in this world, we wolves are born of the four elements, and we are granted that a power within that element.
it can be anything the mind can imagine. these powers are called semblances, and they usually have a name.
if you were born under leo and an aries, your power could be called 'explosion.' the name should be enough
to tell you said power. if you were born under an aquarius and cancer ( water and air ), your power could be
able to create lightning and could be called 'rumble.' these possibilities are endless. and then, there's ophiuc
hus. whoever is born under ophiuchus has the element of their other parent, and any element. it could be ic
e, or it could be lightning as well.
each wolf is tattooed with a "crest" representing their zodiac. these crests can be hidden among fur, or even
placed on the belly. usually, it is either a darker or lighter patch of fur or a full-on scar. and then, the way t
hat we wolves live. we all live in a pack in unity. most of the time at least. we do have our fair share of fight
s, but that's normal; of course, there are those who prefer to be alone. so with all of that, will you join us?

territory.
the pack's territory is quite diverse. they live near the bottom side of the
mountains, where there are many caves of various sizes. there is a rocky
pathway that leads up to two other caves; the king and queen's cave, and
the two lieutenants. then there is a cave for the hunters and warriors,
starlets, and then queens and pups. then there is a somewhat large river,
that isn't too deep so a full-grown wolf can walk through it, that separates
the mountains to a plentiful forest of herbs and prey. of course, there is
also the mountain prey. as the river goes downstream, it gets deeper and
leads to a lake, perfect of those of water element to practice. the forest
is used to earth elements, and the higher mountains are used for fire and
air; as rock cannot set on fire. their territory is quite simple, and perfect
for them... almost too perfect.

it is currently a spring

rank meanings.
king — the king is the ruler of the pack. his word is unquestioned, and if so,
the king has permission, if they choose, to show their dominance. at the
end of winter, if there is any wolf over at a year and a half or older, they
have rights to challenge the king for their position. ( please pm lunera in
advance if you choose this option ). if the male wins, his mate usually
becomes queen as well, but if he does not have a mate then the spot is open
until then. this is the same if the genders are reversed. if the main leader is
dead, defeated, or retired, it is usual for the lieutenants to fight until
surrendered or unable to continue the battle for leadership.
queen — usually the king's mate. she has almost equal power to the king. it
is possible for the queen to be in charge if the female challenged the king/
queen before them and won.
lieutenants — second in command. they more or less have the same amount
of power as the queen. the lieutenants and the queen work together for
patrols, training, and hunting. the queen, king, and lieutenants must be able
to hunt skillfully and well as hold their own in a fight. to become a lieutenant,
a hunter or warrior must inform the main leader and that king/queen will
assess that wolf's skill in hunting and fighting. after that, depending on their
gender, they will challenge that lieutenant. only happens on full moons.
healers — pretty self-explanatory. these wolves are usually of the earth element
due to their control over wildlife or healing. of course, this is only common
and not absolute.
hunters — the hunters of the pack. they specialize in hunting, like fishing or
hunting in the mountains, or air for speed. they do know basic fighting moves.
if the hunter wishes to become a lieutenant, they can learn more advanced
moves from warriors.
warriors — the fighters of the pack. they are usually strongly built, but of course
not always, as their semblance can change that. they can be of any element,
and know basic hunting moves. if the warrior wishes to become a lieutenant,
they can learn more advanced moves from hunters.
starlets — the apprentices of the pack. they start training at 3 months and end
it at 8 months old.
queens — pregnant wolves, or wolves who specialize in caring for the weak.
pups — must i explain this?
loners — wolves who do not wish to be in the pack, or haven't joined yet.

descendants of ophiuchus lose part of their
life, soul, sanity, power, or all sense of right
and wrong the more they use the power of
ophiuchus. this has not been confirmed, as
no alive descendants have been revealed yet.
