Hey everyone! This is my one kalon, Cassia. I've been working on developing her, but I'm really not sure what age I want her to be! Could anybody help me out, maybe give me some reasons why some specific age would be good for her? Her image links to her toyhouse page which has some more information about her. (not much, but some) Thank you so much if you help!

Pretty much she lives in a universe where people with heterochromia have powers. She's in a place where a lot of people are either in awe or really scared of her or whatever or are mean and stuff because they're really jealous. She can hear the current thoughts of people but only when she's touching artwork they made, so she collects art. She hasn't told anyone what her power is. She's also pretty shy. It's in a pretty modern AU, so like internet and stuff exists.

hello fanclub! trying out a new post format [ again ], and i have a bit of stuff to say so this might be a bit of a long post whoopsie doodles. and since the post will be long enough already with the introductions, i'll share my adverts, growths, and art i got in another fanclub post later on in the week!

Introductions

firstly, this is skyler! I won him in a readoption held by Mellifluous! he's the newest addition to the karrow-kendrick family thanks to his marriage to kingston! he's currently in college, studying zoololgy and biology while his husband studies business. they're very well off due to kingston's wealthy fathers, but sometimes skyler wonders if kingston feels bad that he doesn't earn money for himself on top of work. sure, skyler would feel that way if he didn't have his job as a pet store clerk, but he hopes that his husband doesn't feel that way when he's trying hard to be something amazing.


next is astaroth! I got him from the gifting thread when it was in use, originally designed by solaris. and as kalon #114! With some edits and an expression change, this little angel has now become the cultist's son that has captured my heart. The adoptive son of the deranged gameshow host ainsley and cult leader darrius, this poor darling was picked up off the steps of an orphanage ran by the cult as a method of gaining followers, and though astaroth was supposed to be nothing more than an orphanage brat raised to be weak enough to join the cult, darrius saw him, and decided he was too good for that life. he became the first child the cult ever really adopted, and is being raised to become the next main prophet of their god. however, he's enrolled in college so that he can bring others into the cult, and studies psychology and hopes to get a teaching degree in the future.


and here with have rodiht! i claimed a ufos design and he became one of my favorite boys! am i cool yet? jk but he's got to be my most chilled out kalon right now. he doesn't have any romance going on, he doesn't have any cults trying to take him in, he doesn't have any crime life to go through, he's just a really tired kid who works at walmart. sure, he loves doing a bunch of things in his free time, but the major part of his life is in work, watching gaming videos, going on walks, or going all the way to New York to visit his mother for the holidays. She constantly asks him to work at her casino, but he refuses, not wanting to get too involved in those sorts of things, even if it pays well.


second to last is ray! my common hm myo that my boyf helped me design. he certainly is based on something, but that's not exactly important enough to go on about. he's a big lazy who likes to play video games and drive fast motorbikes, as well as kissing his boyfriend david. he's a sneaky man who likes to pick fights and steal cash, being one of the brute forces of the gang he's a part of. He gets easily concerned about David, but as long as he has something to keep himself distracted from possibly dangerous situations, he'll be totally fine and not losing his mind...at least not in fear. He will probably be losing his mind in rage, however.


and finally, delbin! named after an artisan dragon in spyro! he was designed by the oh so lovely sixbane who has been doing god's work recently. i've only had him for one day, so I don't have much about him, but I do have a bit. He's the head of the swim team at his school, and he likes to paint small water bugs in the lake near his home. he was adopted by cammo, and even with his guidance, delbin can be a bit of a jerk to other kits, often hitting them with his tail for a good laugh.

It's been another month since my last fc post ;w; but I finally got some free time after a hectic couple of weeks, so here we are!

Hope everyone's having a good weekend so far! I decided to spend my Saturday binge-watching some horror game let's plays in the background while I work on homework and drawings, haha. That... wasn't the best idea?? because I was got panicky and almost got jumpscared by my cat's silhouette, ooops. I'll just,, go back to binging Brooklyn Nine-Nine!

I got him from a trade with Zucruxe early October I believe, and the super lovely irina did his growth! (And I added a hair edit shortly <3 )

My ideas for him are all over the place right now tbh, but here's some notes about him:

Okay, so it's been a hot minute since I introduced any kals and honestly I can't remember who needs introducing or reintroducing so I'm just going to introduce as many of my kals as I can. Feel free to skip on down to the next section this is going to be slightly long. Almost all of my kals are open for mates and any kal with development is open for friendships, almost all of my kals are pan because I tend not to determine a sexuality until they're settled into a relationship.

Modern AU all these kals are in a modern day setting. They attend the same UK university and their development explores the development they go through as they change throughout their university experience. These kals are all quite personal to me as a lot of their personalities and backstories are inspired by my friends, they're usually a mash up of two or more of my IRL friends. These kals are close in age 18-21 even though some are kits. (There are no romantic relationships between kits and grown kals - just friendships)

This is Astrid, she was made and grown by the
wonderful Kanadensis in this fabulous OOC
breeding. I was overjoyed with the
two kits I got from this batch and I
will be developing them as siblings.
Astrid is the older of the two siblings.
She could most accurately be
described as 'basic'. In her human
form I like to imagine her to look
a little like this but
I haven't figured out a ref for her yet.
She likes soft things: fairy lights, tea,
fluffy socks, throw cushions, house
plants and crop tops. However, she
can be feisty and is fiercely loyal to
and protective of her brother who
she worries about a lot. She studies
psychology and is one of the popular
girls on campus, often being snapped
for the student magazine by Wyatt.

Victor is Astrid's brother and is
from the same NB as she is. He's
her younger brother, they're
Irish Twins and chose to attend
the same university. Victor is
much less popular. He has
little to no involvement in any
sports or clubs and mostly
spends his time playing video
games. He is however a big
party animal and has picked
up some concerning habits
related to that (probably
not CS appropriate). He
studies computer science but
attends lectures infrequently.

Earlier today I traded for
Wyatt who is an absolute dream
kal. i am probably going to change
his name but Wyatt seems to have
stuck for now. As mentioned earlier
he is a photographer for the uni's
online magazine. He writes articles
such as "Which Nandos side is your
university?" and "What does your
choice of Tesco Value product say
about you?". He's a bit of a hipster,
he's usually well dressed and peppy.
He's pretty sensible and studious.
His bedroom is decorated with
photos of the university city and
his friendship group, especially his
flatmate Iris

Iris is the fourth and final kal
in my university AU. I won her in a
readopt a while ago and have been
struggling to develop her since.
She is housemates with Astrid and
Wyatt. She studies architecture
and is very artistic. She decorates
her room with paintings and
doodles that she has done. She
works in a handmade soap shop
on weekends. She gets to take
home broken and imperfect
soap so always smells amazing.
She is the parties the least out
of her housemates and is the
most likely to suggest a house
meal or brunch

I'm not going to introduce my Winter Wonderland AU kals yet because they're awaiting approval from Karm. However, I can say this. This AU is based of Narnia except instead of being never Christmas it is always Christmas. The whole town centers around a Christmas market, there is a tavern and a lot of magic. The backstory is that the Goddess of spring who looked over the land fell in love with the God of the Underworld and left, which meant that spring never comes. It is loosely based off the stories of Persephone and Hades. I did have MYO designs made for these two God characters but I wasn't really able to connect with them, so I've decided to hold off on finding kals to fill those roles.

Whenever I get new kals there always comes a need for edits, growths and or transfers. I would prefer to pay in C$, pets, lists or possibly USD. I will be reluctant to pay more than 10 USD because I'm broke at the moment.



I am looking for a transfer artist for this kal.
They need to be transferred onto oekaki and
given a hair edit. This is quite a project
because of all the spots so I'm definitely
willing to spend USD on this one. I don't
know exactly what I want for the hair
style but I think a darker colour would
suit better, so don't worry if you can't
do elaborate hair or anything

My kals are pretty badly underdeveloped and so I devised these fun questions to prompt headcannons but also force me to consider all my kals at once. These who's more likely to scenarios are great for developing a relationship or just for fun. I'm going to consider my 4 uni kals.

Who is most likely to get in a fight?

Viktor \,because he's quite agressive generally and takes offence quite easily, plus you know he's not entirely on the right side of the law .
Who is most likely to go to a museum?

Definitely Wyatt. Museums fit nicely with his geology degree and he's the most studious of all my kals. He'd probably go to the Natural History Museum in London.
Who is the best at math(s)?

None of my kals are amazing at maths, but Iris is probably the best at off the top of your head sums. Wyatt is quite good at calculus and more theoretical stuff though.
Who is most likely to smoke?
Wyatt. however Iris is guilty of the occassional stress cigarette.
Who is most likely to win an Olympic medal?

Well if you believe as firmly as Viktor does that video games are a sport, it's Viktor. Of the existing Olympic games it'd have to be Astrid - after all she is on the badminton team

It's been a while since I posted here not to advertise a stream. I've just been so darn busy, and I've had a lot of stuff one after another bombarding me in my personal life. It's hard to stay afloat, but I'm managing best I can day to day.
I've gotten a lot of new kalons and I haven't had time to intro or type up anything concrete about them, so I wanted to spend some time today doing that. I started typing his post two hours ago, and I still haven't even made it to the body. [I got stuck on an hour long search for a name for my new kit lol]

Fawlkes // male // criminal doctor
I won this boy in a readopt, and I was super happy because he's been a dream design for a long time! Gave him some edits to revamp him a little, and I'm just really in love!
Rumors say he's a demon who'll stitch you up and steal your soul. Or a vampire who runs a clinic so he's always stocked with a fresh supply of blood. If you believed in the supernatural, the gossip wouldn't be easy to dismiss once you'd met him. Anyone that has solid evidence of these claims, usually doesn't live long enough to verify them. He gives off unsettling and otherworldly vibes, and doesn't do anything to dispel his reputation. When he smiles it seems sinister and you'd better watch out. He definitely bites.
He works as a doctor for organized crime, specifically Quinn's organization. He and Quinn have been friends for a while.

Cedric // male // magic student
Traded for this boy, and I ended up creating a whole new universe and best friend for him!
He's an honors student at a prestigious magic college. In his home country, mages must be schooled and licensed as they practice their craft. They are inked with special tattoos for specific purposes, and it's illegal to cast without the use of said tattoos. Cedric studied quite hard as a kid, always having been fascinated with the technical side of magic. He's adept at drawing circles, and was recognized at a young age for his work in creating new original circles for increased casting performance. He was given a scholarship to the school of his dreams, but in the ended had it caused a falling out with his best friend.
His tattoos are specifically for dealing with elemental casting, and the band on his arm is a representation of the solstices, and indicative that he draws his main power from the sun.

Jareth // male // magic rebel
And this is Cedric's bets friend, Jareth the Goblin King!
He and Cedric grew up together, Ced from a more well to do family, but the two bonding over their love of magic. They met when Cedric's grandfather took Jareth in as an apprentice of sorts. While Cedric was always good in his studies, Jareth was the one with the natural talent. They two are opposites in a lot of ways, but when they were younger, it only made them closer.
However as they got older, Cedric ended up accepted into the school they were both aiming for, and Jareth was rejected. At first, the two would meet up in secret so Cedric could share his new knowledge, but eventually Ced began to feel apprehensive, since Jareth didn't have the required tattoos, and the ones he did obtain were done so illegally. When he began to refuse to teach his friend anymore, Jareth found other means: an underground society dedicated to casting magic without tattoos, that believed the laws restricting magic are elitist and a means to oppress the common people. The two boys had a falling out over their beliefs.
Jareth's tattoos are a mirror of Cedric's, meant to draw their main power from the moon instead of the sun.

Yu // male // vampire lord
I knew I needed this guy as soon as he went up for trade, and I'm so happy to own him!
I don't have much solid info on him yet, because he's still in development. But I do know that I want to include him in Roshan's story. He'll perhaps be a moon deity, the foil to Roshan. I might also rework some of Roshan's story to include Yu as the villain; though I don't want Yu to be evil per say, so it'll take some tweaking!
For now I know he's definitely going to be related to the moon, and some kind of vampire!

Anastasius // male // professional mooch
Pallis gifted this babe to me, since I own two of their siblings! I've been having fun trying to fit him in their universe!
Anastasius is a very pretty boy and he knows it. He does some freelance modeling work, and is a popular internet personality, but he basically spends his days doing whatever he wants and making other people pay for it. He has a lot of relationships at once, and while he does have his own apartment, he's pretty much never there. When not in the company of one of may dates, he's popping up at his brother's places. They long stopped trying to change the locks, because Ana always finds a key. It's not uncommon for Alice to come home to Ana asleep on his couch, and he's starting to suspect his dog likes his brother more than him. Quinn is more indulgent than Alice, and will often let Ana get away with whatever he wants, always the doting older brother. The two of them together make Alice's life hell, but he can't seem to get rid of them.

Malchai // male // god of liminal spaces
This boy I got in a NB that I'm super in love with.
I decided to reuse and revamp an old character idea of mine, that I traded away the kalon I originally used it on years ago. He's a mysterious merchant that always seems to show up when you're in dire straits, with exactly what you need. He sells a variety of magical artifacts that all are probably too dangerous to be handled by the average person. He'll take payment of anything of equal value [sort of like Yuko from xxxHolic], so it maybe be simple cash money, or it may be the color of your eyes, or all of your good luck.
He's the son of Corvus, who is the God of Lost things, and thus is granted minor godlike powers himself. His dominion is over Liminal Spaces, and he has the ability to move between planes and long distances by folding space.
He tends to be out of touch with humanity, and isn't close to many outside of his family. Although his father's partner isn't blood related to him, he loves Rain like a second parent, and the mortal helps keep him grounded and more emotionally present. Rain wants Kai and his brother to have normal childhoods.

Saros // male // god of the unnatural passage of time
And this is Kai's brother! Though they aren't related in kalon canon, they ended up looking alike and I decided I wanted them to be twins in their story!
Saros is another minor deity, as the second of Corvus' sons. He rules over the unnatural passage of time. This is periods such as when you're having fun and time seems to move faster, or when you're bored and it slows down. Or having a dissociative episode in which you can't remember what you've done for the past three hours. Any moments where time doesn't seem to behave as it should, is Saros' area of expertise.
He's fond of the saying "time is an illusion", and can manipulate it to his will. Though it's more like bending rules, and not breaking them. He spends most of his time with his brother, and the two have a sort of twin telepathy, often conversing in looks alone. They can be mischievous when they're together. Saros has the sort of sense of humor that makes it tricky to tell when he's being serious or not. He has trouble with inflections, but though he seems serious all the time, he actually has a great many soft spots and is a physically affectionate boy.

Zenith // male // god of death and rebirth
This guy was gifted to me by Naumachy, and I honestly couldn't be happier. They're from a NB I did a while ago, and have remained one of my favorite design's I've ever done! I can't wait to get them grown, they're first on my list when I have time!
This is Zenith, the god of Death and Rebirth. He's not quite as solemn as the title sounds. His main area is watching over the harvest, and people often have festivals and erect small shrines on their farms in his honor. He's very in touch with humanity and fascinated by them. He loves people and is devoted to his worshippers.
He can be a bit naïve, and is sometimes ignorant of all humanities ways, but he tries his best and that's what counts. He's social, and often disguises himself to walk among mortals. People with high spiritual energies and especially children, can usually spot his bone tail however, no matter how he tries to hide it!

Ran // male // ghost
And last but certainly not least, this is Ran! I won them in a readopt and I worked really hard on it!
Ran fits into my "Japanese mythology" universe. He's the restless spirit of a prince who was in love with a general from the country his kingdom was at war with. At first he thought their love could unite the two nations, but his lover betrayed him and he ended up drowned by foreign soldiers. His heart longs for revenge, and his ghost haunts the pond where he died, luring in travelers to join him in the depths. You can read the story I wrote for the try out here!
Eventually he's exorcised by Irdris, a wandering monk, but instead of disappearing entirely, he's freed from the water, and ends up following Idris around on his travels. Their stories tie in with some of my other kalons from this universe.

Good gosh i've been busy/swamped but I have a little to show off/say.

I have one new addition to my band to introduce; this is Storme;
She's a minor weather goddess who was 'summoned' to battle a terrible drought affecting her country. When she feels strong sorrow or emotions, it can weakly influence the weather around her.
She's become legend, living in a mountain high above the villages, where its forbidden to speak to or talk to her; because her sorrow brings the rains. She's to be left alone, else fear the rains leaving again and driving the people to starve.
