for a suggestion, since it's a ref maybe you should not add shading to the ref, unless of course it really looks like that. I mean, the shading is super cool and nice but maybe having a flip side ref with the unshaded version would be nice, or adding the color palette. sorry if that sounds rude, and take my advice as a grain of salt.
