Wintersong looks around and sees gale pad out of camp and follows him then pads over to him “ hello I'm wintersong your gale right? " Looks at him with curious glowing eyes

Gale jumped, startled by Windersong's voice. He made his fluffed out fur lay flat "Yes I am. You snuck up on me there" he said with a nervous laugh.

Gale watched Wintersong for a second, then shook his head to make himself more alert. He closed his eyes and scented the air, reverting back to the way his mother had first taught him to begin hunting. Scent not sight or hearing. He could smell the thick green of the leaves, and underneath was squirrel. He opened his eyes and looked for the scrabbling creature.

Wintersong twitches ears and hears the soft scuffle of a vole in the under growth. Crouches into a hunters crouch and pounces on the vole killing it with one swip then looks around and watches gale her fur flufed out

Gale crept close to the ground, not in a crouch but holding himself low. The squirrel did not look up from it's meal, and Gale bunched his hind legs and leaped at the small creature. It didn't see him, even as his claws dug into it's small body. He killed it quickly, and carried it to where Wintersong was "Nice catch" he purred, gesturing to the vole
