"No!" Amberpaw meowed, pouncing on Moontail as she stood up. Moontail growled, using her paw to pull the apprintice off with ease. "Watch me!" She snapped, turning to go. Amberpaw growled, leaping back onto her. As a spat began, it was hard to tell who was winning.

Gale got to his feet and stretched. He looked around at the other cats, then abruptly headed for the entrance of the camp. He was not used to asking permission, and the urge to hunt suddenly gripped him.

Slenderpaw rested her sleek head on the ground, wondering what she could do to entertain herself.

Flickerstorm looks at rowanstar and shruggs then lifts self to paws and walks up to her “ um rowanstar do you mind if I go hunting the fresh kill pile is very low right now“

Slenderpaw raised her head, then stood up "Yes it is. And you're Scamppaw, correct?" she asked. A tiny nervousness crept up in her, telling her she should not be talking to this apprentice. That no good would come out of it. But she pushed back the feeling and managed a smile.

Rowanstar nodded. "Yes. It's only night-hunts that you must ask me about." her voice was light.

After a few minutes, Moontail had pinned Amberpaw down. Panting, she snapped," Don't try that again, Amberpaw!" She let go of the smaller shecat, and bounded off tward Rowanstar. Clumps of fur where missing from her pelt, and her ear was torn. Amberpaw had been lucky that Moontail hadn't used any claws on her, but the apprintice still had a patch of her missing on her side.

Gale trotted through the woods. He could her tussling between two cats, and considered stopping to see what was happening, but then shot down the idea. It was probably a couple of apprentices training or something. He stopped dead when a robin fluttered onto the ground in front of him. Without hesitation he lashed out at the bird, striking it with a small crack, and it crumpled. He proudly hid the catch and continued
