The Machine(open for characters)

"Please take a seat," Dr. Bonaparte motioned to one of the cushions on the floor. There was a desk with a computer on it as well as another cousin behind the desk. Dr. Bonaparte bit down onto a bar that was screwed into the door and pulled the door shut. "Now then," Dr. Bonaparte sat on the cushion behind the desk and hit a button on the computer, "state your name for the record and what animal you are."

Thana sat down on one of the cushions, trying for a short while to get herself comfortable. "Thana." she said, hoping they would assume it was her name. She felt a little uncomfortable speaking like this, and would prefer to say little for the time being. "I believe this is some kind of canine. Fox?"

"Indeed you are a fox," Dr. Bonaparte nodded, "What did you see in the machine?"

Thana thought of ways to explain this, deciding that even though it hurt to speak, she should say as much as possible for the good of the records. "At first, just a box. Once you turned it on, just...white. Nothing else, just white." She tried to remember anything else, but that was all she actually saw. There were...some weird images when she closed her eyes, but she didn't know if that was a side effect of the machine or something just with her. "Did anyone else see weird images when they closed their eyes, or is it just me?"

"I saw weird images even without closing my eyes," Dr. Bonaparte frowned slightly, "I saw faces; some I knew and some I didn't. Could you tell me about the weird images that you saw?"

[Bronzewing]

"Mostly just shapes, neon stuff. Symbols, violence, letters, numbers. A bunch of stuff, no faces though." She said, shrugging. She had never thought much about images like that, she saw weird things all the time. Maybe she spent too much time here...no, that wasn't possible. She was a dedicated worker, and that was all.

"Everyone sees something different in the machine. It's always interesting to find out what people have seen," Dr. Bonaparte reassured, "How quickly did you adapt to being an animal?"

[Bronzewing]

"Apart from talking, I think I'm good. Not too hard to walk, much faster than usual, much better...defense capabilities, and I can still kind of pick things up." She held out a paw, one digit serving almost as a thumb. "Don't know if actual foxes have this."

Dr. Bonaparte's eyebrows raised, "No, actual foxes can't do that. Certainly something to note. Do you think there is any correlation with your human self and your animal self? Such as any reason you would be a fox rather than any other animal."

Putting her paw down, she shifted her position on the pillow. "Well..." Foxes were known to be cunning and having questionable morals, and she definitely had both of those things. If only they knew all the things she had done...in the name of science of course, but something she would be looked down upon for. They definitely shouldn't know any of that. What else were foxes known for? Intelligence? Well yes, but she didn't want to promote herself so...obviously. The color? She did like purple...but with the dark connotations of the color, it led to the same issue as before. Red...no, not red either. Purple was also the color of royalty, but she wasn't royal in any way. "I can't think of anything." she said, deciding to mention nothing.
