Marion gasped, holding onto the bulbasaur’s pokeball as though she was trying to crush it. Eevee would make a great addition to her team! There were so many options to evolve it into! However upon a closer look, she noticed it was playing with a toy. Maybe it was already owned by someone? “Etienne, can you go talk to her? or him, what where the gender ratio again? Ugh.” She talked to the bulbasaur, sending him towards the small brown Pokémon and sat and watched him waddle forward.

"Ve?" It let out a curious squeak, before playfully napping the grass mon on the nose. Maybe it just wants a friend?

Eteinne looked back at Marion in confusion who nodded before he put a clawed foot to his nose, a curious look in his eyes as he scanned the eevee. “Bulba! Bulba, saur!” The off-colour growled happily, vines coming from his bulb to gently pat the eevee’s head in return. He tilted his head at the eevee with a doopy grin.

The old man scratches his head and thinks for a bit
"Two pokemon, hmm, I guess that would be 200 shells," He says, "OH! And don't forget you can pick out one more pokemon for free if you get those two!"

The eevee danced in a little circle, before passing the toy to the Bulbasaur. Upon closer examination, it was old and clearly worn with age. If the eevee did have an owner, they were long gone. The poor thing must be lonely.

Marion frowned slightly at the sight of the toy in more detail as it was raised by Eteinne’s vine, the bulbasaur dropping it on his head much like a hat. She wondered if the eevee was abandoned or their owner died, perhaps they’d enjoy a pair of travelling buddies. Quietly, Marion approach the poor thing and laid a pokéball down in front of them. She gave it a reassuring smile.
