Small doodles I did! I'm sorry these aren't as polished as the main comic,
but I had tons of fun doing these nevertheless.

Heyo! Thanks so much for reading my entry, I planned to do more for extras but unfortunately it's a rather busy time in school for me :'> I hope you enjoyed the comic, though! I never really did comics before this contest, so this was a good step out of my comfort zone. c:

The title, "'cause happy ending's hardest to fake", is a lyric from EDEN's End Credits!
I thought the particular lyric fitted Seb's backstory, and I love EDEN's songs in general hehe.
"So tell me this is who you are...", "They tell me I've got something more." are both lyrics from
EDEN's rock + roll (I can't link it because it contains swears oof).

The picnic basket pixel in the main post is taken from lastsecret.net,
and the sunset pixel in part one is a free-to-use pixel by RariJacks on dA.

A disclaimer that Seb's past father and mother are not real kals -
they're just there to provide some backstory.
Halfisa, Evan, Raymond, and Calliope are real, however!
They're my kals and their stories are canon. ♥

A huge thank you for Marsh and Vanillasaur for letting me use their kals as background characters
for the comic! The kals are Dayle and Avilene respectively. They're not in the same universe as my kals,
so their appearances are non-canonical.
