I think rolecall has finished so let's start off. Well start on day 357 aboard The Searchers. It's nearly the 1 year anniversary so there is a huge celebration being planned.

I woke up from my bed stretching and just standing there for a few minutes before finally getting up and strolling over to the large dining hall. I waited for the automatic food dispenser to drop some meat, while I waited i took a quick look around, only 3 other people could be up this early, the engineers. I never liked the chefs cooking, too new for my tastes. I looked over at where the engineers were sitting and made up my mind to ask them what that banging last night was. After my food of course

Kuvira was already awake- being an engineer meant that she had to be up early and stay vigilant in case something were to happen. The anniversary was coming up, after all- everything had to go right for the upcoming celebration, after all. A catastrophe on that day would be the exact opposite of a good thing. She was sitting in the dining hall at the moment with some others, not eating anything and only listening to the conversations at the table. She was messing around with a few settings on the suit she wore, making sure everything was running correctly as she usually did. Kuvira wanted everything to go right.

After all the banging, Crystal decided to finally get up, after a sleepless night. Getting her apron on, and ready to start the day, she went to the kitchen. "Mornin'" She greeted red. "I'm not surprised to see you up after all that noise. Do you know anythin' about it? Say, any dishes you lookin' fo'? I can whip them up fo' you, the celebratation is important ya' know."

Virus ran his tongue over a claw idly, having just finished eating and now mostly just making sure there was nothing caught in them. He'd never slept much anyway, which meant the on-call-at all-times nature of being an engineer didn't bother him as much as it might others. His tail flicked in boredom, good eye scanning over the others that were starting to enter the dining hall. Lot more up earlier than usual, which just amused him more than anything else. He couldn't wait for people to start cornering the three of them demanding to know what the noise was last night. "Nice morning for the whole ship to be awake, eh Kuvira?"

Kuvira sighed, holding her head in a claw. "If you think all the questions we're going to get are great, then yep, great morning." she said with a sigh. "I'm just hoping there's some stroke of luck and they go bother someone else." It was going to take some work explaining that noise...even more because she didn't even know what had caused it. It must have been in a sector she wasn't working on (at the moment, at least)...that was the only way she could explain her lack of knowledge about the occurrence. Kuvira definitely didn't like this.

"Well it's certainly not my problem," Virus noted with a grin, tail curling around him as he spoke, "have no clue what it was - I was in the engine room fixing a broken connection in the cooling systems, cross my heart." His tail flicked over the general area of his heart at his words. "Turned out it was just a bit of fur. Doesn't mean I'm not going to have fun with it if people start harassing me about it though." The margay lifted a paw to his forehead dramatically, "oh there was space turbulence and part of the ship almost broke off!"
