a year of hope they had called it. the humans had always wanted to bett
er themselves and in turn destroyed their entire race. a vaccine said to c
ure every aliment was given to everyone. it began slowly, minor signs her
e and there, the awful smell that radiated off of them. they became abs
ent-minded creatures. loyal pets left immediately, sensing the danger th
at was soon to come. they played with fire and now they were burning w
ith no hope of return. dogs watched as their own owners turned on one a
nother. eyes turned bloodshot and cold to the touch, communication cea
sed. as time passed, it was discovered that two different strains of the v
accine caused different types of the walking corpses. the canines later n
amed these two different strains, one more dangerous than the other.

clickers are exactly what they sound like. their constant clicking alerts anyone
of their presence and they are attracted to sound, lacking vision and smell. a
s long as one is quiet, they pose little to no thread. they are quick in respons
e time and highly deadly. the second strain has been deemed the runners. th
ey are attracted by sight and sound. most active during the day, they are com
pletely blind at night. faster than their counterpart, this strain can sometime
s match the speed of a canine. the best option is to run if one is spotted and
too close for comfort. in the middle of a incredible large city, roads are block
ed and some places inaccessible. the dogs need to find a way out and into the
wilderness, in hopes of finding a normal life and not being exposed to the thr
eat of the strains and possible death. lack of food is becoming a problem now.

Candus is a white German Shepherd dog with dark eyes and a thick coat. He has no other colors on his fur, except for a few
black spots on a foreleg.

Candus has a love for excitement and the unknown, but not so much that it gets in the way of his survival. He's a resourceful canine and has a good memory, easily able to find his location if lost. He's also pretty good with sensing danger, but whenever something happens he usually runs away from the group, forgetting about the others in an urge to save himself. When he doesn't run he's a decent fighter, but most of the time he needs to be specifically asked to stay with the pack.

CARRION

I can't give back what you lost...

Carrion is a male Dalmatian who doesn't understand what exactly happened for the world to fall apart like this. The first minute he was spending his time with his owner, the next, he ran away from them. What he does know is that he needs to survive this... apocalypse. Most of his actions is controlled by his instincts, knowing that there is hardly any emotion left in this world.

Personality: Carrion is usually systematic and seems to act almost robotic at times. Though, he rarely shows his other side, the one with emotions. The other side of him is an almost guarding dog, one who would jump in front of a train just to save another dog's life without second thought. He is stubborn and will make sure that, if he does make any friends, that they stay alive.

Strengths: Carrion can run and swim fast, as his owner was very athletic at the time when the owner was still human. His bite is also very powerful, as, if he lands a bite on his enemy, its like a spring lock failure and a bear trap. Very painful and almost impossible to pry off.

Neutrals: Carrion can hunt decently, as he has had practice with the backyard squirrels. His claws do a decent amount of damage as well.

Weaknesses: Carrion has very poor aim, making it very hard for him to land his bites and scratches. He also doesn't try to be stealthy whatsoever.
