I just got 2 new bettas... no idea what to name them! It's driving me crazy...
I lost Carnage a couple months ago. He was 3 years old. Then my little guy Geralt just passed last week. He was also about 3 years old. I brought these guys home to fill up the empty tanks. They're so purtttty.

Here is everybody!

Top left: new guy, no name.
Top right: Captain (or Steve, depending on my mood)
Bottom right: Abe (recovering from some fin damage, ugghhh)
Bottom left: new girl, no name.

Out of curiosity if you had a 93 liter tank (25-ish gal), with roughly dimensions of 75x34,5x36cm. How would you stock it? :)

And to add, this endler female really needs to pop soon, she's getting pretty massive...

(yes, that is a filter sponge behind them I'm trying to cycle it and maybe get my empty tank running)
Can we pretend that the airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars?
I could really use a wish right now, wish right now, wish right now...

How many fish tanks do you have: 3
Types of fish that you have: i have Red Bellied Piranha in one, a group of Sailfin Mollies (boyfriend bought them not realizing that he had the perfect tank for them to breed. They began breeding out of control, so I have them now) in another, and the last is a community my boyfriend owns (2 Firemouth Chiclids, 8 corydoras, a clown plecco, and a few micky mouse platties.
Your fishs' names:
- Piranhas~ Bruce Wane, Uncle Ruckus, and Jawz
- Firemouths~ Starfire and Nova
- Corydoras~ Bean, Rice, Hammy, Pea, Spazzy, Spot, Moss Ball, and Geoffry
Plecco~ Danger Sauce (dont ask. We dont know)
- Platies~ Saturn, Chevy, Pontiac, and Olds
How long have you had fish: I have kept fish for about 3 years now, while my boyfriend is only a few months in

I actually wanted to get some opinions as well. I already understand the controversy around feeder fish. At least, the goldfish you buy from the store.
Well, im having a bit of a moral battle. The 3 Piranha I have refuse all food but live, i have almost lost them to starvation while trying to switch them over. Ever since I got my boyfriend's school of about 15 sailfins, I have been just removing the fry into another tank when I notice them, growing them, and using them as a food source. I thought this was a good idea given the situation, i cant keep all the fry, and mollies are healthier than goldfish.
Well, my boyfriend is now angry with me for the fact of that i have been doing this. Tells me its cruel and unusual, and that if I cant switch the piranha over to frozen, I should just keep trying, because they will eventually accept it.
Maybe he is right, and I should just keep trying frozen and stop with the molly fry. Im just afraid to try again. Last time, it got to the point where the Piranha had no energy and would lay on the bottom of the tank, until I broke down and bought them a small bag of feeders.
I just want to do right by these Amazon Puppies, as I call them. I love them very much.

What are you trying to switch them to from the feeders a friend of mine feeds a mix of stuff to his group.
Beef heart, shrimp, krill, steak, chicken, smelt, nightcrawlers, squid, fish fillets, pork and other various frozen meats. He finds his really like the beef heart and squid.

I tried bloodworms, mysis shrimp, beefheart, and I also tried buying pre-cut fish from the meat market. They dont even look at the food unless its swimming around them. Its almost like being able to chase the food entices them.
I thought feeder fish was a fine food for them, they were healthy and active. I guess the issue im having is that im being told im terrible for feeding them like that.

Nothing wrong with feeding live if homegrown, I do so as a treat for my axies, but if you're looking to switch them over to prepared watch some of the King of DIY's videos, he has a few talking about feeders and how to get fish off live feeders. one method he tries is to light tie a string around the prepaird food and jerk it through the water untill the fish takes it. Big shrimp are a great training tool. Night crawlers are also a good option as they wiggle and gain attention.

So i plan on having a "community" tank of a few guppies and 2-3 african dwarf frogs, Any tips? I plan on getting a 10-15 gal, I will be putting in a few decorations so the frogs can hide and I will be getting a gentle filter and a moss ball for the tank.

Make sure the frogs are getting food. They tend to do best in species only tanks since they're quite slow and can't see very well.
Are you going with all male guppies or males and females?
