Question for any/all staff

I think I'd have to be some form of bird, just to see how flying really feels. I'm not sure which, though. It would be very easy to be a seagull in my town!

I'm not in school any more, but my favourite was English and my least favourite was PE.

Hmm, dubstep, I guess! I think a lot of people find it tasteless, but I like some songs when I'm in the right mood.

Honestly? Between these 2, I couldn't pick one because I love them both very much. It's funny too since the design elements + colors came to me while I was asleep :'D

I feel like I was really lazy with this one, I wish I could make it better. The whole litter is recolors of the same design and I'm still kicking myself to this day for that. D:

Gosh there's a lot of candle smells I like; but to name a few Tikki Beach, Magic in The Air, Cactus Blossom, Blue Winter, White Gardenia... there's probably more but because Bath & Body Works switches out their candles for every season it's hard to keep track, I've been loving their new winter-y smells though as it reminds me of my homestate. I also love floral smells. o:

-TruBlue wrote:To any artist, or anyone who makes pets:

How long does it typically take to make one litter of pets?

It varies! Some can take me as long as 4-5 hours while others can take me as little as 1-3 hours. It depends how quickly I can work, the size of the litter, and how my motivation is in general!

mynameisbacon wrote:To all who make the monthly pets:

I personally use Photoshop CS5 because I grew up a bit using Photoshop Elements! :'D

What’s your favourite childhood memory?

I was just reminiscing on it the other day, when in about 6-7 years old my home state was overrun, and still is, by these Eastern Tent Caterpillars. You could find them everywhere on the roads, sidewalks, etc. because they were super common to see during the Spring.

Little old me decided to take one home and take care of it, I didn't know it was a moth at the time, I figured it was a regular old butterfly. But because a lot of them meet their... demise outside because they walk around everywhere in peoples way and stuff, I figured I would save it from the outside world.

I kept it in a bug container and gave it leaves to munch on, and about a week or 2 later it became a silk cocoon! I left it alone and cleared the overgrowth out so when it emerged it would have enough room to stretch around, it eventually emerged into a moth and, regardless of it being a moth, I really loved it.

I let it go the next day and it stayed on my arm for a couple of minutes giving me little butterfly kisses as if it was saying thank you, before flying off. I still am kinda touched by this, and so are my parents.

There's honestly so many more good memories I have from childhood where I was nice to others or things because I wasn't the most liked kid at all, so I didn't want others to feel the same way.

I realized the other month that I'm no longer scared of approaching and talking to people.
I used to get incredibly nervous and could hardly ask waiters for a glass of water, but I've been practising and recently noticed that I seem to only get anxious about situations now where it actually makes sense.
I've become a lot more socially confident. I can't count how many times I procrastinated on important and often urgent responsibilities just because they involved making phone calls, or visiting some office, or writing emails. It feels so good to finally have reached a point in the management of my disorder where I am capable of just getting this stuff done.

Question for any/all staff

Definitely a bird! Maybe a frigatebird? They are some of the most skilled fliers among all birds - they are highly agile in the air and have been recorded flying for days or even weeks without a landing! They can fly as high as 12k feet and may soar for miles without having to flap their wings.
I would love to experience what that feels like.

Then again, they're the bird equivalent of pirates and steal a lot of stuff from other birds...

Probably my first day at elementary school. I remember a year before that my family was visiting the USA, and there was a store we went to that had this cute bald eagle beanie baby. I wanted it sooooo badly but my parents didn't buy it for me and I threw a tantrum omg. I was such a bratty child. Eagles were my fave animals back then, yknow?
Anyway I didn't get the plush and was very salty.

Except cue my first school day and my family were giving me gifts (it's tradition here to give new elementary schoolers a goodie bag filled with stuff like school supplies, sweets and toys), and surprise! My parents actually did buy the plush! They had done so sneakily when I wasn't present and wanted to gift it to me all along!

I still have him and he's very important to me hahaha.

Favourite would be either English or geography. I always liked English because I never had to study for it, lol. But geo was always super interesting. I went on to study both at uni, which only strengthened my love for geo.

This is gonna be really cliché, but my most hated subject was maths. Not for lack of trying, mind ya. I took private lessons in an attempt to save my grades, but no matter how hard I tried, I was always awfully slow and constantly lagged behind the class.
It's super difficult for me to wrap my had around maths stuff. I don't know how describe it; it takes me a really long time to make sense of it and I can't seem to just work with instructions when I don't understand the 'why'.
Every time I finally understood a topic our lessons already started moving on to the next. Sometimes I managed to catch up just in time to get a D on the test, but usually... not.
I couldn't not hate the subject when it was a never-ending stream of frustrations.

To any staff
Can we post photos of our homes if they don't show any indication of location?

To anyone:

Has there ever been times where you really have no idea how to help or handle a situation?
Maybe you were new, or perhaps it was so bizarre you weren't able to even think of a solution/answer.

If so what did you end up doing?
(Asking Tess/Leave it for someone else to handle/ignore it even maybe..?)

if going by the high school type of subjects, i never really enjoyed math. too much brain work, made me feel like a zombie. and here i am, trying to study programming. and before you ask, yeahhhh it's going very slow... but at least it is going.
favorite subject, then... almost everything else, honestly. i love writing so finnish and english classes were so much fun, history and biology/geography paired up with religion classes taught me about other countries and their cultures and ahhh it was all so fascinating to me
