The tiny pup whimpered as she continued to huddle near her mother's body, hoping somehow she'd wake up and it would all be a bad dream. With her tail between her legs, her stomach began to growl again, loudly...She had been ignoring it for the past few hours, though now the growls were accompanied by a gnawing ache...She got to her paws, shivering, "O-okay, Mama...Wait here, I-I'll go get some food and I'll be back. I-I'm not leaving." She promised, the pup's eyes were brimmed with tears as she headed off in a random direction, she knew nothing about hunting, she had no idea where to go. The pup was about as big as her mother's paw, she certainly didn't stand a chance out here on her own...Though she continued to make her way. She walked for hours until she was on the brink of exhaustion, her little ears began to twitch, hearing the voices of others. She instantly tucked her tail between her legs, trying desperately to look around, trying to find where the voices were coming from, though with only one working eye, her vision was limited. "H-hello?" She called out in a tiny voice, trembling with fear.

Soul slowly walked through the what seemed to be white death. He took short breaths to try to catch the scent of any pray. He tensed up at the pain of hunger was giving him. You would think having white fur would help but with how weak everyone was it basically felt like nothing.

Soul took another breath hoping to find something but everything was harder when missing an eye. He got the scent of another wolf but it had a slight scent of old milk. He turned his head and lifted up his hackles using some of his little remaining strength to look strong."WHOSE THERE!" He barked in a deep angry tone. His voice was deep but his words were strong. Soul didn't let his guard down and he never left a spot unseen even with his one eye.

The tiny ball of fluff nearly had a heart attack upon hearing the loud, deep voice...Barking at her. She rushed to get to her paws, instantly scampering away in a rush, not looking or caring where she was going, only to slam her little self right into something quite large...And furry. The little pup trembled with fear as she looked up, only to see quite possibly the largest wolf she had ever seen. She swallowed hard, her heart beating out of her chest as she stammered, trying to speak although nothing but whines came out. She cowered down, "Please don't eat me!" She cried out, horrified that the large creature would hurt her. She shook with both fear and due to the cold, the snow nearly swallowing her tiny little body.

Soul looked at the pup bending down a bit."Who are you? Are you alone? Where are you from? Is this some sort of trick?" Soul said as you could hear a deep growl behind his voice. He spoke very seriously yet he felt bad for the pup they were freezing and he felt their fear but out here you have to stay strong, plus he didn't know if he would get ambushed by an adult.

Soul looked at the small amount of their body that stuck out of the snow. His ears pointed back and he still bared his teeth and his tail swayed slowly. He looked around him quickly before locking his focus into them again.

"I...I'm NOT alone! My Momma is back home, waiting for me to get food. She...she's hurt." She replied, a bit defensively, she'd always feared being alone. Her Momma had to be okay. She whimpered quietly, the pup was much too young to understand death...So when her mother was attacked and laying limp by their den, she assumed she was just badly injured. She cowered a bit lower as he bared his teeth, "P-please! You're scaring me!" She whimpered, "I just wanna go home." She whined quietly. "I-I want my Momma." With that, tears pooled up in the pups eye, as they began to spill.

Wilson woke up after a bit. He scooted out from his sisters paws and went outside. He shivered when the winter breezes hit his used to be warm pelt. He walked towards the trees and sniffed the air."Somethings here." Wilson said. He wasn't sure but something felt wrong.

Wilson turned and began to make his way to the what could possibly be something miss placed.

Sansa felt Wilson leave."Again?" Sansa said. She walked behind Wilson when she felt the same feeling as Wilson."What in the what?" Sansa said. She turned and also began to walk in that direction. She felt like something was off and she had to investigate.

Soul looked at the pup, he still didn't trust them."Id love to help but i need to stay with my pack. I could help you hunt for your mother." Soul said. He didn't want to scare them so he closed his mouth.

Soul felt the pain of hunger hit him hard this time. He tensed up with pain but still tried to look strong. He didn't want them to know he was weak but he wanted to just lay on the floor and yell in pain. But that wasn't gonna happen. He wanted to make an impression and showing weakness wasn't acceptable in the wild.

Soul looked at the pup he wanted to help with her mother but he had to stay with his pack. No matter how much he wanted to help he knew he couldn't and the pup was way to young to hunt. By the time they catch up to a rabbit something else would get her first.

He huffed and shook his body with pain. It wasn't just a shock like it was every other time but the lingered and by the second it got worse."Go back with your mother for now for warmth. Ill see if i could get you food." Soul said. His eyes shinned with pain but he still tried to look strong.

"I...I don't know where to go...It's snowing so hard I can't find my tracks back!" She cried out, whimpering, "T-the big bear attacked my Mom a few nights ago...and...and she fell asleep. She's still not awake I think she's really hurt! She needs me!" Pumpkin pleaded with the big brute, all she could think about was her Mother. Laying there, in the snow...All by herself, alone.

Soul looked at the pup unsure of what to do now."Well you or me are gonna have to figure out something. You can be out here alone." Soul said. The image of the pup walking through the snow trying to get back but freezing slowly with each step filled his mind.

When she spoke about her mom and the bear it reminded him of his own past. Images of the catastrophe flashed in his eyes every little detale and scene. Soul froze up he very quietly whimpered and turned to the pup. He knew no wolf could win against a bear no matter how strong they were. When the pup described on how long her mothers been out he knew that she was dead there's no chance of any wolf to win.

Soul looked at the pup sorry."Well your gonna have to stay at my pack for now. Its to cold out here and dangerous." Soul didn't like saying those words but it was true. They needed to live to carry on the generations."Your mothers gonna have to wait. Your life means more than anything else."

The pup sniffled a bit, before nodding...She hoped her mother would be alright, but she couldn't stand to be in the cold for a moment longer. She was already beginning to feel lightheaded from the lack of a meal, and her little body was still shivering violently. "O-okay..I'll come back with you." She said quietly.

Soul looked at the pup. He bent down and grabbed them by the scruff. He began to make his way back to the camp. All he could rely on was scent.

He walked through the cold snow ignoring the roaring pain of hunger but their life meant more than his. Soul didn't want to hunt and leave them but he knew if he didn't him and the pup would go down just like his parents in the fight, but instead of the fight id be in the thick white blanket of snow that death had laid down for them.
